Is it just me or the actor who played as Prince Suolan, also known as the weak main antagonist, is bad at acting?…
I totally agree, some if the best fight sequences ever in historical cdrama. The best and most satisfying death had to be the annoying eunuch Shu! I am happy that they didn't kill off main lead and that they can live a peaceful life supporting each other and loving one another. Is it not possible for them to be romantic on the down low? Like in that Tiffany Tang drama Legend of Xiou Chou. They only got married after the emperor grew up, but it is implied that he was a father figure and that they were romantically together unofficially.
And how Ten Miles remains unbeatable with 52B..Mindblowing!!! π€―π€―π€―
Me too. I love YM after TMOPB. I still rewatch the sweet parts. And on occasion I rewatch in it's entirety. She really captured the characters perfectly as a young girl/disciple, regular mortal, and kickass goddess! It was perfection! And the chemistry was off the charts.
Absolutely worth watching. Itβs a really great drama with the acting/visuals/cinematography and OST no matter…
For sure, it is so far much happier than I thought it would end up being. If the next 2 episodes are SE, I'mma pretend this was real ending and tomorrow's ending is just a bad dream! π
but JC's mutiny scheme is exposed already. So my suspicion of another deep core villain who's yet to come out…
So is Jichang dead for sure from the poison HS gave him? Was not expecting him to be a fake brother too since the sister was also fake! Makes it easier l guess. I wonder who gave him the note in prison? Couldn't be Tang, since he was supposed to be a subordinate? Unless it is Zhunian emperor/brother? Duolan is defeated and kicked out so couldn't be him. Not too many baddies left, except for the person eunuch Zhi works for.
How convenient, the Bihong idiot can smash her head easily after destroying other people's hopes. There ought…
Is that Tilan's maid who died? Yes, she caused a chain reaction of events. The nerve of her though. She could have caused Tilan's death by association too if she succeeded in assassinating the emperor. Isn't this kind of action above her pay grade?!! If she was truly loyal to her master, she would have obeyed her.
HS must have predicted the enemeies might possibly attack..So the carriage which she drove must be fake..Or else…
Seems strange why the emperor and consorts don't religiously test their food for poison anymore. The emperor did it in the beginning of the drama then just stopped, even though there has been at least 2 incidents if poison so far. Shouldn't emperor be more careful since he cares about his Baixi and he only gets one?
And why are they not heavily fortifying the guards for the mermaid? Do all 3 main characters with superior martial arts have to leave her presence at once? Not even Jifeng guards? Not sitting right.
Lolo they really don't have any 'strong' 'villains' in this story, do they? Lord Chang should've just stuck to…
The sad part is that if he showed competence to the emperor, his brother would have gladly put him in charge of armies and responsibilities and the like. Instead of playing the sleepy idiot in court, he should have been working hard to be a good high ranking official. He would make a lousy emperor as he would allow foreign invaders to decimate the country to get in power.

I wondered how they got his personal article when Tilan was told to poison the emperor but then he found out the brother was unharmed and living normally. Makes sense if he was behind that scheme. I wonder if he tried to abort the baby with the poison medicine or if that was Chang.
Am not in fandom world, for me YM and WC are overrated, but they definitely nailed it big time on this drama,…
You are correct! Loved her in my first Mandarin historical cdrama TMOPB, also loved her in Palace Jade Lock Heart, and now Pearl Eclipse. She is a goddess! She also rocks in modern dramas too. This is my first WC drama and he has not disappointed.
