I actually really really loved this show, it deserves more attention! From all the dramas I've seen recently (Marry my Husband, Doctor Slump, destined with you, my demon, the matchmakers...) this one is my favorite! It's not perfect, a little bit all over the place, but it never got boring, and that's rare! There were a lot of unexpected twists (although some were messy), and it was a good mix of romance, comedy and thriller. And Oh the Chemistry! So many good kisses, I am positively swooning. I also loved the supporting basement trio and that the dynamics kept changing because of the body swaps. Definitely gonna rewatch soon, it's a 9/10 for me!

Just finished episode 12, and cannot believe how stupidly fearless Ha Neul was. Makes literally no sense that she would meet him at the side of the road, and then get into his car (albeit reluctantly), and then basically BLACKMAIL him with uncomfortable truths while they're DRIVING on the high way. She cannot possibly be that stupid, considering she's oh so smart. Ugh, so annoying... Truck of doom yet again.

Title True to Love Spoiler
I just rewatched it after watching when it was originally airing, because I had forgotten most of it and I was in the mood for something light. Oh boy, I really did forget about all the makjang drama from the beginning. First of all, I enjoyed the show. I liked the characters. I loved how they touched upon themes that are rarely spoken about in terms of relationships, especially the troubles the married couple(s) are facing, when it might just be small things that add up. However, in terms of pacing, the story leaves something to be desired. Her pining and crying over her ex is taking too much screen time, and her desperation ('I feel like dying') is over the top. While she does continuously say, that she wants everyone to love her and craves attention, she's generally the type to get what she wants. She has a high self esteem and up to the fiasco a pretty good standing altogether. So it doesn't feel believable, when suddenly her whole world revolves around the guy who dumped her, and she's about to give up on everything. I also didn't like how she kept giving her trashy ex second chances (especially in the end, even though she was never going to actually take him back, she says like she feels he has the right to say goodbye, and that's BS. He treated her like shit and that's it... )
I probably enjoyed the middle part the most, the chemistry between the leads is palpable and their bickering turning to friendship yet with underlying UST carries the show. I was proud of Soo Hyuk who stood up to his ex and told her he was going to start loving more openly. I thought 'now, that's finally some character development, there'. So, seriously, the final two episodes just don't make sense. His hesitation to be with Bo Ra and AGAIN not speaking his mind, not confessing his feelings, are a stark contrast to how he seemed to have matured and learned from his mistakes. It seemed way too forced in my opinion and ruined the ending of the show for me. There were more things I didn't like, f.e. the sister's lack of substance (she keeps saying she feels inferior and directionless in life, yet we never learn WHY all she does is party and laze around all day. Why isn't she going to university or looking for a job or... anything really?). All in all I just think some of the characters were one-dimensional, it would have been interesting to know more about their past and backgrounds. Oh, and the youngest at work... Geez, I mean, I know she was supposed to be cute, and she was at times. But she was also seriously so so so so naive and out of this world. I don't believe people like her could exist, unless she grew up in the boonies living with her grandma, only reading books all day long. Who knows, she never got a backstory either. But even so, she probably went to college or whatever, if she's 25, nobody should be THAT naive. Anyway, I'll settle on a 7.0 but only because I really loved the middle part.

This is one drama where I want to see the female lead end up alone. She is kind (hidden under layers of meanness),…
He doesn't hate her. He initially approached her to find out what happened 5 years ago and get her to apologize (and possibly get revenge), but I think deep down he doubts that she is responsible for his gf's death, even though she might have stolen the idea upon command. Also, when she asks him (while in his body): 'Kiss me like you love me. Did you really never feel any love at all?" The way he looks at her (in her body) clearly shows how conflicted he is between hating and caring for her at the same time. I am sure he'll find out it wasn't really her fault, she'll show some remorse and they'll admit the time they spent with each other wasn't entirely in vain. Eventually they did care for each other and support each other (up to a certain point).

This part is confusing. What does "this is your last chance" mean?
Could y'all please hide stuff like this under a spoiler? I accidentally read those posts before watching the new episodes and it sorta ruined the surprise for me.

Pretty much the only show that only gets better with time. Beginning was mediocre, middle extremely entertaining and now we're on a roll with mystery and plot-twists. I'm loving it. Cannot wait for the next episodes, I wish I could binge the rest, ahhhh.

I was expecting this drama to be as good as The Day Of Becoming You. But it didn’t really reach my expectations…
I was ready to drop it after episode 4, but people said it'd get better so I kept watching. And it really does get much better! I binged everything in two days~

When their souls swapped for the first time, i started seeing some positive changes in Kang Naeon (real soul).…
I agree, I just want some more character development for her. Maybe it's all part of a greater plan, but she's being so mean to the people who helped her along the way. Not impressed!

Omo, I have to say, I had little expectations for this drama, but apart from the somewhat draggy beginning, it's been extremely entertaining! I love that it never gets repetitive with constant shuffling of the cards so to speak. I just hope for more character development for Na Eon in the final episodes. Chemistry is amazing, too. Now I hope the rest will not disappoint. Currently a 8.5 in my books.

I just finished the drama, it was extremely enjoyable. A good mix of comedy, suspense and romance. I am actually…
I have to say, though some sudden turns for certain characters aren't entirely believable and I did not love the ending. I wish they had addressed the ridiculous rules for widows and divorcees, annulling her marriage did nothing to change that. The father and his mob got off too lightly. I also thought the separation between the two leads in the final episode was not emotional enough. Her telling him to be happy and live on without her sounded too rehearsed and she was smiling the entire time (I get why, because she told him to live on with a smile), yet I couldn't actually feel their pain. I am MOST upset about the final scene though. I mean, seriously, he had her in his arms already, could they not have given us just one second of a kiss? Urgh, not satisfying.

I just finished the drama, it was extremely enjoyable. A good mix of comedy, suspense and romance. I am actually surprised that it's not listed as romance, because even though there's a lack of skinship, there's a lot of chemistry between the leads and a cute story for the SL couple.
I loved the first half more than the second, because I felt like the court politics and intrigues were something I've repeatedly seen in other dramas and there should have been another surprise factor to drive the show (from the middle on you know all about the bad guys and it's just about when and how they'll get what they deserve). Even so, it doesn't drag too much and ends on a good note. Cute and mostly lighthearted historical drama that should not be taken too seriously. Very happy we got a kick-ass female heroine in a leading role. 8/10

Title City Hunter
This was one of the first korean dramas I watched and I still remember FL sent letters to I think that prosecutor…
There is a classic movie from 1955 with the same title, in which a rich gentleman anonymously pays for the education of a younger woman he met by chance. Since then, 'Daddy Long Legs' is basically a synonym for a benefactor - aka someone who supports you financially (who often but not always remains anonymous).

Please, name me a revenge drama that's actually good. I watched Temptation of Wife, Home Temptation, The Fallen…
Oh, also old but really good is Yong Pal. The FL is extremely unforgiving in that one (and rightfully so!)

It's old and the romance is extremely outdated, but I do love City Hunter for revenge. Probably also holds a place in my heart because it was one of the first kdramas I watched.

Goblin age gap was 12 years, this one 26 lol Not really comparable...

I cannot stand people here who have problem when th FL is older than ML but if it change they are ok with that!…
Personally it's not about whether FL is older than ML or not, but it's about the extend of the age gap. The actress here is 52, twice the age of Eun Woo, who's 26. He literally could be her son. My parents had me when they were early 20s, so ugh, I can really not get on board with that. It would be the same if ML was the old guy and FL half his age. Well, let's see, I hope it's not a romance drama.
Also, before someone lashes out at me: I know there are couples with age gaps as large as theirs. In fact, some of my friends have been in such relationships, and although none of them lasted, I always respected their choices and partners. On screen, though, it's just not my cup of tea.

I don't get the hate either. It seems SK provokes almost pathologically obsessive anti fan response in some people,…
Yes, it's too bad, really. Nevertheless was such a great show. I can see how it's not everyone's cup of tea, it was a bold choice and something entirely different from 'usual' K-drama land. There was too much unnecessary hate in my opinion. Oh well, to each their own, I suppose, as long as people remain polite.

Also, to everyone saying Song Kang cannot do comedy: Just because the drama has comedy as a genre, doesn't mean every character has to be funny. In fact, Gu Won here has lived for more than 200 years as a demon and has a cold demeanor towards 'insignificant human beings'. He admits that he enjoys human creations but despises humans for their greed and lack of will, which leads their souls to give in to temptation after 'only a couple of years of hardships'. He explains he turned away from good and became 'evil' because he continuously had to witness their corruption and the world slowly falling apart. So if a scene with Gu Won is supposed to be funny, it's rather due to his lack of humor and stony facade, and it works quite well. Later on, as he spends more time with Do Hee and tunes in to human emotions, he adapts a childish side, which is refreshing though. I for my part cannot find fault with Song Kang's acting in the comedy aspect.

I don't really get all the hate. I am halfway through the drama (just finished episode 9), and I absolutely love it. The first three episodes or so were phenomenal, and while the middle part has become somewhat predictable, it's still a delight to watch. I love the characters, the music and cinematography, the balance between comedy, romance and drama. Yes, some things are typical K-drama, but that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. Even if it all goes to hell now (pun intended), I don't regret watching it up to this point and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend everyone to just give it a shot and just mentally prepare to be let down by the second half... Trust me, the first half is still gold.
