Onna Joshu Naotora definitely one of his best performance.

Currently watch his 2017 Taiga Drama titled Onna Joshu Naotora.
He only listed as support role, but bloody hell! He carried out almost half of the show on his shoulder.
Definitely one of his best performance.
He show us (once again) his broad range of acting.
If you don't mind with a long episode of historical story drama you should check it out.

Nagi no oitoma also proved that he is a good actor

I also managed to spoiled myself that Masatsugu will be killed by Naotora while downloading the series.
And I was like: mother of ghoul! Did Takahashi Issei finally became a pure evil character? He must be do something really bad to be killed by his precious one.

So I watch the series, preparing that Masatsugu will snap and join the darkside.
And episode 30-33 hit me like a train.
Currently stop at episode 36, because it became too much, and I really missed Masatsugu.
He such a lonely character, they were so close, but he choose this path to protect what he believed.

So, how? Did you manage to finish it?

Just some addition, I think when Mochizuki was questioned by her higher up (at the beginning of ep 10), He thought Mochizuki disturbed the investigation by holding up the information and he said Mochizuki will take the responsibility for her action.
While it didn't have to be punished severely, I believe Mochizuki's moral compass won't let herself go without punishment
She ended up like it anyway

I don't think they really know. Nitta didn't modify the video, they only tried to restore the file that had been erased from Hidaka's phone, but it damage anyway.
Kawahara notice Mochizuki's been different since Hidaka's case. But maybe because he assumed there were romance involved between them.
The chef also only notice Hidaka gesture different

I think, Mochizuki gained Hidaka's attention for the 1st time when he tricked Mochizuki (inside Hidaka) to eat nuts. That was the 1st time he compliment her (sincerely) as strong woman. Next, Hidaka also found up the there was power harassment between Mochizuki and Kawahara.
Mochizuki get all Hidaka's respect when she was angry because to Hidaka (at ep 6 i guess), because he keep doing a crime.

Oh, and I think Mochizuki actually attracted to Hidaka (physicaly) at the very beginning when she and Yamaki interviewed him.
Mochizuki look really interested at Hidaka's photo and she also prepare herself to appear decent in front of him. That was before her detective instinct kicked in.

I like how subtle it developed. Is it really romantic feeling? I don't think so, but they do care about each other and I like the way writer put every clue so subtle in every episode.

Coming back from watching Rurouken Global Fans sessions and saw the subs for ep 10 has been up.

I'm really satisfy with the ending. All the questions have been answered. And everyone has their redemption (I guess).

I watched last ep raw without sub. And I even don't understand 1% of it.
Watched it again after the subs was coming.

I mean the way Haruka Ayase played when Hidaka was inside her body, I still felt like she is Haruka Ayase. She often played as controled, serious or poised character, so when she became Hidaka, I've just saw her as Haruka Ayase played as other character.
It doesn't mean i don't like her acting skill, but Issei indeed made me feel like he was really taken over by Ayase at some point

You were introduced to issei's acting around 2011? How lucky!
I've been watching j-dorama since 2010 (on and off), and I only watched issei for the 1st time at 2019 in Nagi's Long Vacation and I was like: How can this awesome actor didn't fall under my radar sooner?
Been fan since that, and I tried to watch his earlier works as much as I can find. His acting almost never disappoint me.
I don't know why but Issei's acting when Ayako was inside his body really remind me of how Haruka Ayase act as Amemiya Hotaru in Hotaru no Hikari . And I mean it in a good way. ^_^

As Hidaka said, Ayako is rightness. That's quality of Ayako gained much respect from Hidaka.
I believe Ayako won't let Hidaka took all the blame, but she won't let Hidaka go unpunish .
I think Ayako will try to make sure Hidaka get the justice because he indeed breaking a law by ruining the crime scene and interfere police works. But he wasn't the murderer.

I think it is the same card. At episode 7, the card was falling near his scattered coin and also medicine. But when Azuma-san was picked up by anambulance, we didn't see that scattered on the street. So my guess, Riku was picking it up and put it back to his wallet. And then it fall at ep 9

Nijiro Karute was on my watchlist, but I don't check it yet. As for Uchi no Mushume, I don't know why, but I kind of stuck at ep 2. Didn't have a mood to finish it yet.

Indeed, Haruka Ayase rarely repeat paired with same actor, unles it was sequel like Hotaru no Hikaro or Caution! Hazardous Wife.
I think she play together a couple time with Takeru Sato for different title.
So I will just cross my finger and wish they wil play together again.

And same here, I'm also a fan of Issei ＼(^o^)／

Hidaka and Mochizuki had minimum screen time together
(at the same place) through out the series.
They mostly interacted by phone.
And episode 9 payed that off.

I really wish Haruka Ayase and Takahashi Issei will have another project together. They work so well.
I don't know, may be some action comedy or family drama XD.

I only watch Tengoku to Jigoku and Ore no Iie no Hanashi this season, but I also starting to watch Naotora (Taiga drama). At least I won't be that lonely, because I have 40+ ep to finish... :p

I like it, even when the series almost came to the end, but we still have a couple uncertainty.
All episodes of Tengoku to Jigoku made some point, almost without wasted it to unnecessary filler and still manage us to feel excited. The answers were always unpredictable. And I believe the ending will be satisfying

If I saw this ep without knowing the context, I will think that Hidaka make some cool pick up line

"You've came at me from a strange place, and you've came at me fast"

"You're righteous. I'm sure they made the switch so that you could arrest me."

"If anyone is going to arrest me, it should be you."

But the best line was indeed
Hidaka: We don't have to go to hell together
Mochizuki: I'll definitely get you out of this
Hidaka: I'll be waiting
