Episode 9 trailer show us that Je Yi angry because Ji Hyuk asked Director Do to put tapper on her phone. Like, girl! You have to earn someone trust and you betrayed Ji Hyuk first. He simply doesn't trust anyone that easily to begin with, but you make him questioning your real intention XD. At least now you are even :p
I think you should watch the end of episode 6 again. NIS captured him at the hospital. It was a set up. Sep Yeon…
I think Je Yi intention still ambiguous until this point, we have to wait. I won't be surprise if she came out not as "pure" as it seems :) But actually I also questioned the point of deleting that original video, a whole crew saw it was possible to fabricate a cctv video at real time. It's like indirect prove that Ji Hyuk could be innocent.
As for weak plot. I think that is a common problems after we past the first half of total episode. I mean, I watch a couple of drama that become slower at first episode of second half. Slower or have a big revelation but with another unanswered questions. Let just wish it doesn't became unnecessary plot hole or twist
I think you should watch the end of episode 6 again. NIS captured him at the hospital. It was a set up. Sep Yeon…
I want to make addition :) Ji Hyuk also pointed with tactical red dot laser which mean he is an "easy target", he can fight but what for? He loose in number and fire arm inside closed tiny hospital room. He might be go out from that room, but with fatal injury. And also he still recovered from the wound in his stomach (that I assumed never really treated properly except when Je Yi help him). I think that's why he choose to give himself in.
Also about Je Yi's betrayal, i think Ji Hyuk disappointed, that's why he refused to meet her so many time in prison I think part of him was disappointed at first, but after spending time inside prison and loosing drugs from his system, he want to know her reason
Vincenzo is still in my watch list on Netflix. I wonder if I should watch it now because I believe that drama…
IMHO, Beyond evil was one of best drama this year. And same, I also avoided high rating or over hype drama because it gave me certain high expectations but it only gave me disappointment. I also love series with twisted and unpredictable plot. But, as for Mouse, I actually didn't really like it. For me, they were trying to hard to make it twisted but sometimes they forgot about detail. And some of the twist left me empty. (Also maybe I didn't like it because I read some good reviews about Mouse, but it failed to leave up my expectations. But so far, The Veil didn't disappoint me yet. I think The Veil will join Beyond Evil as my favourite k-drama this year :D
Gordon wants a sequel 😂❤❤https://twitter.com/takumigordon/status/1437790822301421576?s=20https://twitter.com/takumigordon/status/1437807581955715072?s=20
Takanori Iwata: Please make Seigo happy too... Anyone... 🤣
"I'm afraid of being trusted or trust someone" Can we give Hayame a credit for saying it out of loud? A relationship can be scary because we expect something that might be too big for our mind. Sometimes you just need an assurance that everything will be okay from the right person.
This drama has enough sugar to make me swoon and enough tension to make me stay. I'm glad I gave this drama a try because Fumi Nikaido was here, but I ended love every cast (including Kikuno)
I'm still Team Issei. But this personality is completely too nice and fluffy now. I still like some of that rude…
I think Issei still rude and sarcastic, he just soften toward Hayame. At episode 9 He complained edamame soup that's been cooked by Hayame. He asked why she gave him the food that clearly rejected by her former husband. He also clearly said that her dumplings was not pleasant to eat.
Well, we can still see his savageness toward Kikuno, called her Hebi-Ohna (snake woman) right in front of her face.
But indeed, it's became too nice and too fluffy XD When I watch a series, usually I really like the phase when two main character chase each other or didn't understand about their feeling yet. Sometime, I lost interest when they finally said they like each other. But fortunately, Japanese doramas have shorter episode so mostly I can survive even when it became too nice and too fluffy :p
Like you, I'm going to miss PC after next week. Episode 8 was a gem but episode 9 really showcased Issei's maturity…
Seigo said that Akira got accident when she tried to chase Hayame (after "cinderella scene" under the tree). Maybe she blame Hayame for that accident, and also fueled by her affection toward Seigo, she want to make her suffer, but also want to make Seigo have a debt to her by reunited Seigo with Hayame.
Btw, I also got chills when Issei threaten Kikuno. "Get out from this town. Stay away from Hayame. If you hurt her again, I will punish you right there right away." I know it's a cliche dialog but I really like the way it's been delivered (灬º‿º灬)♡ It's like he doesn't give a shit if her opponent is female, as long as it's about Hayame's safety, he will go full rage mode. Well, Kikuno tased him before Issei gone rage ^^'.
Like you, I'm going to miss PC after next week. Episode 8 was a gem but episode 9 really showcased Issei's maturity…
Basically Kikuno said this to Issei about Hayame "Do you want to know my purpose? I want to make her suffer, again and again. I will be happier, if she gets hurt even more. I will never allow that woman to find happiness."
If you like younger male lead and older female lead, Maybe you will like "hajimete koi wo shita hi ni" (A Story…
I've watched it until episode 3 and didn't continue it yet. I thought Mone character almost similar to her character in Koi wa Tsuzuku and somehow, I lost my interest to continue^^a. But, Nanao killing it as super perfect Boss.
I'm new to jdramas - this is my first proper one, so could any jdrama fans that are also enjoying this recommend…
If you like younger male lead and older female lead, Maybe you will like "hajimete koi wo shita hi ni" (A Story to read When You Fall in Love for The First Time). Another romance series recommendation: - "Rich Man Poor Woman", korean remake this series at 2018, and I like the original (Japanese version) better. - "Hotaru no Hikari" a classic one, the story about a perfect career woman at the office, but at home she became a slobs. -"Nigeru wa Haji" (We Married as Job) the title really gave a major plotline for the story. But what if you fall in love with your job ;p - "Nagi no Oitoma". IMO this is not a conventional love story. But it is about a journey to accept and love yourself
For not so sweet story line, I will recommend - N no Tameni (Everything for N) - Kiss That Kills. - Kazoku Game - A million Star falling from The Sky. Korean also remake this series but with different ending. - Mother (2010). I think Korean also remake this one, but the child actor in Japanese version won best new commer in this series (she only 5 years old at that time), she remains the youngest actress who ever won that category.
Interesting.I haven't really noticed jdrama having this particular issue but perhaps it's because I haven't watched…
I think this type of FL character majority came from shoujo manga adaptation. LA from Josei manga usually have stronger FL. Or at least FL in josei manga still weak, but choose to became stronger like Nagi in "Nagi no Oitoma"
Seriously Seigo creeps me out with his infatuation over Hayame. I dislike him so much. Even worse is that he doesn't…
I kind of understand why Seigo didn't show an ounce of affection toward Issei. I mean Issei has a difficult personality after her mom left, he literally push everyone away and Seigo have his own struggles as a heir. Seigo might be tired by all Issei antics. And also He might be jealous because Issei can do whatever he want while he have to appear poise and perfect because he felt that he was the face of Ryokan.
I understand, but that doesn't mean i like his character XD
I wish they will fix their relationship at the end of this series. They seems really close before their mother gone.
As for his infatuation toward Hayame, maybe it also fueled by his jealousy (or inferiority) toward Issei. He didn't want to loose to his bratty younger brother :p
Is it just me or Issei was rather hesitant to help Kinkuno get up? At first he appeared to be sorry and apologetic…
Come to think of it, at ep 4 or 5 when sadist customer went to Ryokan. She said she only want male servant to serve her. But she also favor Kikuno (other servant called her as lethal weapon). I know she also enjoyed Issei's mother company and Hayame, but I wonder, what if she accept Kikuno because she knew (or felt) that Kikuno was a boy XD. Please forgive my imagination.
:) Shout out to Gordon Maeda and Fumi Nikaido's chemistry and acting skill. I've never have a doubt for Fumi's acting skill, but surprisingly I really enjoyed Gordon's performance as Issei. His facial expressions (and his voice) are really on point in this series. I've seen him in a couple of movie and series before, but so far it's just 'okay' performance. After this, I'm looking forward to watch his other projects :)
Kikuno: What do you think about older woman? Issei: Older woman is super amazing [Kikuno proceed to try to kiss Issei] Issei: But the older woman that I want to kiss is not you
YOOOOOOOOOOOO!
When almost every man said Kikuno is cute, Issei straight up said she's like a snake🤣
But I really like how they write Kikuno/Akira's character. Looking forward to know what her background stories

[Spoiler for ep 10]
Seigo show us that he actually a decent brother, and Issei called him Aniki again
🤣
Can we give Hayame a credit for saying it out of loud?
