from all the people performing that night he was the only one to get removed from the episode

the short clip of him performing that was shared on youku youtube from the start got chopped into bits (mixed with a live performance by the original singer back from years ago)

the show consists of 11 episodes:

I can't stand both.
It's not even about the male lead himself but his voice that sounds old and grumpy, and his manner of speaking (unless he got dubbed here which i'm not aware of, but i don't think so).

By the way, that narrative voice-over in the TV series which they put there sounds nasty. Narrating the plot and scenes happening between characters and explaining to the audience what the two characters are thinking at that very moment - this is so cheap and unprofessional.

2 lines and 2-3 minutes on-screen every 4 episodes and Neo still got to be dubbed with sb else's voice in ep 16.
It's enough to compare the end of ep 15 and the beginning of ep 16 (the same scene, two different voices). I wonder if this is why they split the scene between the episodes so that people wouldn't notice?

Let's not forget the series is broadcast on TV, this is so unprofessional really to actually erase the actor's playing in the scene with a voice-over. I mean even if Neo's lines weren't clear enough the director decides whether filming is done properly or not, so they should have had a retake. Or did the lines get changed later so they had him dubbed?
