(for everyone to explain): basically, these are small clips fragmented and split into 12 episodes of the documentary, fans tried to collect them and merged into one piece
I am waiting for subs too 😭😭😭. yay for finally hearing his voice again after SO long , but NAY for cutting…
even with such occasion there are equal and equaler they skipped 4 episodes to sub Wang Yibo's episode first (NewTV Hit Drama)
Wang Yibo's episode alone would be too obvious, they did two (27 & 28) and stopped there (pretty clear to me it's not a coincidence that his episode got subbed right after the release) now the rest can wait - they haven't gone forward with subbing for the entire week (the last one subbed is 22)
better to watch without subs than wait, the number of views counts
I hope it's not, he's a handsome guy and has such beautiful hair, should be playing in dramas where it can be…
I didn't say that he just needs to do modern dramas but I think he will still have plenty of time to play in historical dramas when he's in his thirties he's 25 now, his youth is flying by.... I just would like to watch his youth and appearance being used in dramas as his asset than be wasted like that
yes, we have different preferences, we don't need to have the same
I hope it's not, he's a handsome guy and has such beautiful hair, should be playing in dramas where it can be…
I've seen his acting in LIITA, and he was great there too with his own look, and his own hair did the fact that we could see him in the drama the person he actually is, did it inflence his acting in a negative way? I don't think so he was amazing and there were scenes when I was crying along with him
and this is exactly what I expect from dramas: acting no: costumes, wigs, make-up, picturesque scenery, special effects - all that stuff that obfuscates actual vision* (+dubbing in most of historical dramas)
and playing princes and generals...it seems like now there is a whole army of Chinese actors perfectly "suitable" for these kind of roles, some even "specialize" in the genre and somehow cannot prove their real acting skills by playing in modern dramas (like for example mentioned here below Xiao Zhan known only from historical dramas & movies) but Wang Zi Qi is more than that, he already proved himself in a modern drama, and doesn't need a costume to gain in value, he can rely on his own value
he's talented, young and good-looking, all his qualities should be used on screen, let's leave awful wigs to others
EDITED: * what I mean, in modern dramas there's only bare acting, we don't have all the decoration (visual setting that suggestively stimulates imagination like in historical dramas), an actor needs to rely solely on his own capability, if that is not enough, basically there is nothing left there to maintain substance and save the picture
there are more pictures/videos on the other 2 weibo pages, he doesn't post many on his own one
I couldn't find WZQ's studio weibo, I don't think he has any... (?) maybe 王子奇安利站 "Station" works as such, it posts a lot of material (it looks kind of but I'm not 100% sure if it's official, maybe it's not, but it's worth visiting/following)
I am waiting for subs too 😭😭😭. yay for finally hearing his voice again after SO long , but NAY for cutting…
it's not about hearing his voice but being able to see his acting
like the scene in a prison car where he's choking with tears he's crying and smiling at the same time we cannot even hear much of his voice but we can feel emotions from his acting
the important thing, the series is not dubbed, after 2 years I can finally see Hou Ming Hao's acting in a drama... twenty-five minutes *wow* (waiting for eng subs)
I don't have access to Hunan Tv but episodes on qq (Tencent website) and youtube channel NewTV Hit Drama are the same, example ep. 33 starring Neo Hou, it doesn't matter whether it's yt or not - it has the same number, I don't understand why you claim there is any difference
I've never heard anyone say that they actually *like* the dubbing in C-dramas, so this was interesting for that…
it's not about a "standard accent", that's a lie
many of these dubbed actors have perfect standard accent, and we can hear them in other movies of dramas where they are not dubbed
it's only for technical reasons, especially for costume dramas or fantasy dramas where many scenes are filmed in studios or big spaces and have many special effects, but it is only because of actors "laziness" and schedule, they have next shows and dramas scheduled so they don't want to "waste" their time if they already got paid, and don't bother with recording their own dubbing (sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, probably depends on their schedule and payment they negotiated for the role, really nothing to do with a "standard accent")
Dubbing is a tabboo in China and they don't dare to comment it.
Surely there are different sort of arts, but dubbing in Chinese dramas has nothing to do with any art, it's the VIOLATION of the film art. It's not done for language purposes (like dubbing done by different countries importing foreign movies) and the source material of the actor performing (except for short BTS footage material sometimes) is not available even on domestic market for the Chinese audience.
I don't watch dramas for plots or costumes, I watch it only for actors I'm interested in, and what I want to see in dramas is THEIR acting.
Dubbing kills acting. Dubbing is NOT acting, dubbing is cheating. Drama is not a silent movie, or a pantomime, there are different arts, but is muting the actor an art?
It's not only about hearing an actor's voice, but all the emotions conveyed by ACTING through the audible effects like weeping, crying, screaming, whispering, breathing.... it's all gone
For a poor actor dubbing is a blessing that will cover his flaws as voice is the first thing to expose his poor acting when he's faking scenes. But for a great actor it will be only a waste of his all efforts. Even if he has done his best in front of the camera, we do not get a chance to admire his actual acting.
One of my examples is Wang Peng who despite her true efforts, with her poor acting and fake emotions she ruined some scenes in her debut drama When We Were Young. We wouldn't know it if she were dubbed, but she wasn't so her voice gives her away in these scenes. But because I like Wang Peng, so wanted to see if she improved in her next drama My Girlfriend is an Alien. Directed by the same director, turned out that now she got dubbed! So my question: was it because the director struggled to much with filming her scenes in WWWY and her acting wasn't good enough yet to show it in the next drama?
I do not watch Chinese dramas/movies where leading roles are dubbed. I boycott such dramas.
I've made only two exceptions for my fav actor Hou Ming Hao and watched one movie with his support role, and one drama with his main role (where except for him the other two main actors and support actors were not dubbed). But after I cried through all episodes of Psych-Hunter, I wasn't able to watch his next dubbed role in A Girl Like Me. Too much painful, too much devastating. (by the way, he also did his own voice dubbing for his previous dramas)
When the main actor is muted, it's like not him anymore. I can only see silence, emptiness, feel nothing.
China should stop killing their own actors. Many of them are so talented, they don't deserve it!
tomorrow (Mon 28th June) Neo & Sophie's episode will be broadcast the episode title got changed to 《同行》[tong xing] "Walk Together" the episode trailer: https://m.weibo.cn/status/4652654778912325
from what i got to know zhen shuang isn't the biological mother of those children ... and A city court upheld…
apart from the letter quoted above he posted 2 next messages: - on June 20 (Happy Father's Day) - on June 22 (about bringing the children back to China)
he didn't post anything on Mon 21st June, nor he blamed ZS in any of these posts so where are your "official" sources?
"A letter to Zheng Shuang fans: (...) I have seen all of your criticisms and accusations against me, and your topics have reached nearly 100 million, so I want to sit down and write some thoughts to you.
Frankly speaking, during this year and a half, I hate some of you, and I treat these people with anger and hatred! What "PUA, scammer, soft rice man, gay, American dog..." These absurd rumors are so dazzling, but I can do nothing, but they are hard to tell. Until one day (...) This sentence suddenly made me understand. Your attack on me may not be out of hatred for me, but love for Zheng Shuang.
Why do I want to put a decent end to this custody lawsuit sued by Zheng Shuang as the plaintiff? (...) I wanted to prove that I did not lie, and even found a U.S. lawyer. I took all the legal provisions of Colorado (...) , being able to obtain independent custody decision power is already the best result I can achieve in Colorado! I also translated all the 30-page verdict in English into Chinese. I want to write and post the reason why the judge only gave Zheng Shuang to visit the children three times a week and only 1.5 hours each time, and put it on your face!
But at this moment, I suddenly gave up this idea. I calmly asked myself: "Does it really matter to win? Did I really win?" At this moment, looking at the sleeping child next to me, watching my mother who has been getting older all night (...) I suddenly realized that I was wrong, so wrong, where can I win? Except for my children, I almost lost my entire life, and also lost the rest of my parents' lives because of me!
Thank you for waking me up, waking me up to a terrible loss. I know that I am not qualified to make any demands on you, but as a father, I want to beg and beg you to let me and my two children return to a normal life. Faced with children's curses, intimidation, and spellcasting on the Internet, it hurts me deeply!
I don't know why some of you are so cold-blooded that even cannot young children let go! You can continue to attack and abuse me, but can you leave a way out for my children?
I am willing to admit defeat (...) Can you stop it? I also know that now no matter what I say, you will never give up

this one looks quite complete, includes most of the scenes/shots unaired
(for everyone to explain):
basically, these are small clips fragmented and split into 12 episodes of the documentary, fans tried to collect them and merged into one piece
from these separate bits one can actually imagine the concept of the whole story which got missed in the final version that aired
