It honestly felt like a subtle form of propaganda trying to slip by unnoticed, which was really strange. I’m aware of how Chinese censorship works and that context made the whole lecture thing feel so uncomfortable.

I also found that lecture really strange. It felt like it was trying to force real-life trading and business politics into a work of fiction. The whole panel trading situation between the US, the EU and China may have happened in reality, but it was still odd how heavily the drama villainized the West.

The cinematography is so beautiful 💙.

That man honestly deserves this kind of people around him. I hope that his mistress will take all his money and ran away. 🤣

Yeah, I don't know why this is happening either. Everyone seemed to enjoy the drama and even if they didn't give a high rating like me, they definitely gave an 8.5. Perhaps it's haters of the actors, I can't think of anything else.

I really liked the main couple's dialogues in the 10th episode. They were so natural and funny without any awkwardness ❤️.

This is the beauty of melodramas. They allow people to resonate with the characters, either through shared experiences or through empathy. Melodramas aren’t for everyone but i believe that’s exactly why they hold a special kind of beauty of their own.

I came across this drama by chance, without having seen any prior promotion for it. I never expected to like it as much as I did. It easily deserves a 9.5/10 🤍.

If i remember right, a teacher pointed out that her classmates understood what she was saying, so they paid attention to their Japanese classes. So, it must be a case where she can understand Korean but can't speak really well.
