I really liked the first episode, especially the cinematography in the battle scenes, but it had some plot holes that made me pause for a bit. It could be better if they delved into the reasons why the father made the fl a substitute of her brother. Futhermore, how was she able to live after having such a wound and falling from the cliff in the sea? The episode was good overall, but those plot ''holes'' makes the watch a bit less enjoyable
I will try watching this after it ends, but what is the relationship dynamic here? Like your gf became a man and…
He loved his girlfriend but imagine being a man who is in a relationship with a woman and suddently shes appers to you as a man, wouldn't it be weird? And not just the gender but also the fact that before him there's a face of a stranger. It is confusing
Dear Teenager: Keep watching; I think you'll change your mind, but if you don't, that's okay, too.I think they…
I just completed it and honestly i loved the last ten episodes. The time that i thought her life was messy (a bad choice of words) was at the beginning where she couldn't understand the ml's coldness and distance. Later though, i enjoyed her character development. As you said, she thrived at her studies and she founded new friends along the way. Her character was so kind and empathetic. She tried so much to help Qiao Xi "come back light" and allow himself to feel happy, because he was sabotaging himself. Honestly, i just couldn't really resonate with her life, so maybe that's why i couldn't see her perspective very much. My character and life experiences helps me to resonate more with Qiao Xi and the episodes 19-21 was a pretty hard watch. Maybe my comment was a bit immature lol
I would like to share my opinion on Ying Tao, as a teenager myself(please dont be harsh) until the 17th episode. Ying Tao's childhood friendship with Qiao Xi was very cute and i loved how she and her parents embraced him so quickly, upon the realisation of what he was going through. It was so heartwarming how she always tried to reach out to him and wrote him letters even if she knew him for like 6 months which stated that time doen't take any place in people's memories. I felt kinda confused when she studied so much to change schools just for him. She even stated that if it wasn't for him, she could't study to change her school or get into a good unversity. I reminds me of the lyric "all because i liked a boy" and i really find this thrope unsuitable for the drama. A school drama which is mostly gonna be viewed by teenagers shouldn't really go to that direction imo. Also , the whole high school time felt weird. Qiao Xi just broke contact from a childhood fried but she acted like he betrayed her. She was always thinking about him and it really made her life tangled and messy. Also i founded her kinda repulsive and emotionally unstable( is that too harsh??). Though, as a person who had really strict parents in the past, i must admit that her understanding QX's familly situation was a very heartwarming thing to view. Thats all thank you for reading
