I can understand! My first meet with GJM was Wuliang short film, and I was so impressed! Like how my heart can ache so sweetly on that final scene? Then was a Painted Skin short film, I wasn't impressed the same but aesthetics served even stronger. Then I forgot about it for a few years. And then I started to watch FoF for Ming Hao... and after 10 episodes I started to suspect smth )) Like "why this cinematography seems so familiar?.. And who's this adorable young knight with his micro expressions?" Then was MJTY and now I'm here totally fallen for it 😌🥰

And I so love it that no one can come and say to us how the story goes and how it will end. I'm done with all spoilers under every drama episode from novel readers grrr

IKR! He has a unique STYLE and he's an original CREATOR. Maybe his scripts are not so strong, but I think the most of all those super top drama hits for the last couple of years are so similar and boring, esp historical dramas about fighting for power and throne, I'm done with them!
