I didn't like it at all. For some reason I just didn't like Se Ryung as a character so it was hard to root for her. Plus, there was all this vengeful buildup right up to the final episode, people dying on both sides....and it takes a sharp turn in the last 10 minutes with them just leaving it all behind?! They shouldv'e done that 8 episodes ago then! Such a disappointment
OMG I was just browsing this article and thought this was a drama that was coming out soon...now I'm just sad :'-( This would make such a great summer drama. Who can we talk to to get this made?! I'd give this one a 9 rating just from the synopsis and character description alone!
This was kinda "meh" for me. But if your ire looking for a high school drama with more grit then this isn't too bad, but I was expecting something more. I'm torn between wanting to watch the 2nd season to find out the endings for some of my fav characters and just stopping with this one. Idk. Maybe on a long rainy weekend I'll watch the next one ...
This hits all the right feels for a nice sageuk rom-com for the weekend with a few nice teachable moments. This couldn't have been any better for me and its made me want to revisit the sageuk genre again. I remember loving Kim Seul Gi in Oh My Ghost more than the actual female lead and wanting to see her in more. Wish granted! Now, if only I can find a similar drama to this one, I'd be happy!
All done! Watching for the 1st time now, might be why it seemed so corny at times, but I liked that. My major gripe is that there was a lot of repeated themes presented like they were new every few episodes: I mean seriously, if they had introduced ONE MORE of Ling's ex's...Not sorry I watched it, but I'm not sure what all the hype was about. Much prefer Devil Beside Me and I didnt even rank THAT at a 10. I just prefer the relationship and the characters more. But this is just MHO ;-)
Like most people the beginning was awesome but the ending...wasnt exactly bad just lacking and underwhelming after such a strong start and middle. The ending for our main couple was vague: was it a nice dream, or did they meet in the afterlife? I'd rather have a solid ok ending than one that was indecisive. Also, NO ONE got their happily ever after. I'd usually expect that from a palace drama, but it was set up as a rom-com, so I felt confused & let down. Oddly enough, the character I felt really sorry for was Princess Hwang Bo Yeo Won. As much as I rooted for Wang So and Shin Yool, I felt the Princess was really to be pitied. I don't know this one left me kinda...meh
I've almost completed this drama I'm loving it except for the fact that Mu Cheng can get quite irritating! A lot…
Couldn't help but but be nosy here and recommend some Tdramas >.< My personal favs are Hello My Sweetheart, My Queen, Devil Beside You, and Summer's Desire. And don't worry, all of those have strong female leads. No weak links here!
This was a nice one. Wish it were ranked a bit higher. There were so many relationships and twists it never got boring. If only they hadn't made me unknowingly root for the second lead the ending would've been so much nicer IMHO. I'm a bit mad at that: I thought that I was rooting for the 1st lead with Eun Gi and that the main couple would find their way back to each other after all is said and done, only to have it switched on me! Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic with terminal second-lead-syndrome, but I can't help but feel bad for Eun Gi :'-(
Solid drama. Always had me on my toes. The only reason I didn't rate this one higher is because of my unfortunate…
I know! And the fact that Jian Yao had the same mentality where she just assumed he was dead and never seemed to bring it up to ask? It made me like her a little less for the rest of the show. Glad it wasn't just me!
Solid drama. Always had me on my toes. The only reason I didn't rate this one higher is because of my unfortunate second-lead-syndrome. I mean, they couldn't just leave poor Xun Ran alone?! It was sad enough when he didn't get the girl but they did everything to try to kill him off! :'-(
Easily one of my fav dramas! So Ji Sub melts my heart every time, there were no real 'evil' people just a nice love story with a heart-warming message... and the fact that there was an actual ending sealed the deal. What a way to come out of a drama slump. My only criticism is that I have to follow this one up with something just as good after falling in love with all of these characters! >:-)
SO SO SOOOO glad I finally found subs for this one! School dramas/movies are usually hit or miss for me, and boy was this a HIT! Not since Biscuit Teacher Star Candy (a young Gong Yoo is EVERYTHING) has a school based plot hit all my feels. I've been in a bit of a slump lately and this movie just reminds me why I love watching these dramas and movies. I highly recommend this to everyone! 10!
The ending left me a bit confused, but it was an overall solid series. I prefer Queen In Hyun's Man as far as time travelling romances go. Glad I finally watched this one though.
Its got a little bit of everything masked as a slice of life Noona-romance drama. Happy I finally got around to watching it. Left me all warm and fuzzy at the end. My main gripe is that for as many episodes as there are, I wish we got to see them living their life as a couple for a few episodes after they find their way back together at the end.
