DW doing business stuffs was called 'lackey' job for her. I don't know what to call her now that she is running the pavilion to sell stolen goods of Zheng. I mean that is a lackey job (whitewashing) 😅 Plus calling her rival 'again'?? I mean make it make sense. She was a 'lackey' and she saved u twice actually! Where does 'Again' fit here. But obviously words of wisdom won't get into her mind!!!

ZLS and LYN have the best screen presence for me in this drama! Their portrayal is really beautiful and layered. U really get involved with their emotions in the scene.
And cinematography, really good! The production team deserves all the praises! They are really showcasing the drama beautifully!

Its my opinion of her character. Some might not agree!
So, in the first half, I still liked her character portrayal (despite the things she did) because it was sort of powerful. But in the second half, it really went downhill for me(freefall actually). I find her hypocritical. I mean u see her dressed in men clothing and people around her calling her master. So u can guess she does this bcoz she wants to be involved in family business (unconventional for women at that time). She actually seeks her father's approval and recognition since despite being a legitimate child, she doesn't get valued a lot bcoz of being a woman. She cries foul bcoz her family sort of bullies her and her mother. But then again, since she has the backing of a powerful family, she bullies the weak (like destroying the small ships conveniently), and other things too. Then when her family is ruined, she gets focused on getting revenge from ML and seeks the help of another person and his family (Zheng) who were also involved in ruining her own family. (She basically gets intimate with the person who has already schemed against her family earlier which is totally against the thinge she preached earlier that she wanted to make a name and all). Then, I thought she did this bcoz she didn't know of her family past doings, but no I was wrong. Even when the truth was revealed to her, she is still determined to get her revenge on ML for ruining her family. Like Girl, can't u realise that ur family was the one who killed his entire family first and he is actually seeking justice. Plus ur family has always mistreated u.
Also, she gets involved in doing shady business herself!! (Illegal stuffs)
Plus, the main thing, she just shouts, is angry, schemes, uses others to get her plans into action, is arrogant about her family background and her being a legitimate child, despises those below her for their origins. But at the same time, cries foul when treated wrong. I have not seen her doing anything on her own. She just hopes others to carry out the plans successfully for her. Even her schemes are irritating now. Too much of self pity 🤷♀️
