I was asking in context of AL since it just started shooting when the announcement was made. And we don't have official confirmation on its episode number. Just at one place I read, it was supposedly 24 episodes.

That's why I said CSJ is smarter than ZZH. ZZH is so entangled in his identity and the fear which arises due to it (not getting to be the heir despite being smarter than Si comparatively) makes him rather pathetic. He isn't a smart villain, not even worth planning shit on his own!
Probably bcoz she had always looked down on him earlier, but is now ready to be his ally; he finds himself getting closer to her since he gets a sort of approval from her which he didn't get from his father. His mother's love for him his different. Her every conversation is about asking him to step up (that is he needs improvement).
While with her, it has switched from despising to being allies.

Plus, her plans are actually sensible, while he got no plans on his own. He couldn't even escape the murder blame on his own. Its just that his execution is too poor.

I would have called it love if he actually stood for her. Right from snatching the lotus pearl tower by trying to spike drink (failed) and causing her to faint. Or the talk they had earlier by the inn. He can't even speak frankly in front of his parents that he is gonna always keep her by side. Whenever his parents remind him of it, he goes like 'yeah, i got it'.
For me, its his obsession.
Obsession can lead to him getting upset since he had thought he had won her over (bcoz she was already ruined, had nowhere to go, he rescued her servants and gave her shelter) only to be hit by the truth from her. He just realized she wasn't actually devoted to her.
But yeah, u can have a different opinion on their relation dynamics. But that's no love for me.

That love for me is obsession.
He was obsessed with her due to her legitimate origin and she despised him due to his illegitimate origin.
Now that her family is in the ruins and she offered herself to him, he wants to keep her to himself (only till it doesn't clash with his agenda to rise in family ranks)
For me its obsession (something he wants to possess) . He won't take stand for her, won't give her a name; and I believe will discard her too at the right time.

I was weird about her from the first scene where she ordered to smash the smaller boats stopping her ship from docking! Even then I didn't know how she would get a redemption arc! Now I actually don't want her to have a redemption. I want her to understand that her own deeds landed her in trouble.
She whined about being mistreated by her family in one breath; and in the other breath she mistreated the ones weaker than her by using the power of 'that' family.
It's like crying foul after reaping benefits 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
