This is so beautifully written and yes I apologize for camping under everyone's comments here but this is what…
It makes sense yes.
Also I've read some "sad ending" theories about the title being "I told sunset about YOU" and not "US". I think they probably won't end up up together but I don't think anyone will die because Nadao killed one of the characters in My Ambulance where BKPP play a couple too. I don't think they'll repeat the same type of ending with the exact same actors!
I'm in pain at the possibility of Teh giving up his place for Aew. I'm also in pain at the possibility of regardless…
Oh yes. Are you saying that Teh's audition is taking place in the same day Aew gets to know if he gets in or not (if someone drops from the waiting list? (sorry for being so slow)
I also think that Teh was too emotional at the audition for all that crying be just about missing Aew from when they were children. It looks as if something more is going on.

I'm loving these discussions. Sorry for camping in here too... but I'm totally overwhelmed by this series and also over thinking. About Aew having romantic feelings for Teh or not, call me delusional but despite of what Aew might feel for Bas or not, I feel that in the boat scene after all that "knee talk", it has to mean something that Aew slowly approach his knee from Teh slowly while looking at him that way. I know they touched knees before under the table in a playfull way... but the way he did it on the boat looked something else and given the "knee significance"...
I think that the meanings of the title and soundtracks can be several:
- Teh can't translate what he feels for Aew. He is confused by what he's feeling and realizes too late
- The Skyline lyrics talk about Teh being able to do anything to be with Aew but if the destiny separates him, what can he do? This could indicate that it's just life that gets in the way and not actually themselves. Like for example one of them leaving to university and the other doesn't, Teh choosing to repress his queer feelings in order to please his family, death (please no!) or Aew ending up with Bas. Or something happening that makes Aew angry and not wanting to be with Teh (please no)
But based on these 2 songs and title of the series, I think the main 2 points are Teh realizing his feelings (in time or too late), Aew's choice of Bas or Teh and something external to them happening (destiny) and separating them.
What are your thoughts on it? I am curious to know since a lot of comments are also specifying the exact scene!
There has been lots of discussion if the audition scene takes place before Teh reuniting with Aew and start studying Chinese together or if it happens after everything and all we're seeing now are flashbacks. I've seen valid arguments for both possibilities.
Yes. It is all point for a sad ending, If you Re-watch episode 1, you will see the audision that Teh is crying…
There has been lots of discussion about when the audition takes place. Some people say it's before they reunite and start studying before and others say it's after. There is no consensus yet as to when that scene takes place and I've seen valid arguments for both possibilities.
I’m so scared one of them is going to die. For some reason the title “I told the sunset about you” sounds…
I've thought about this possibility too. I don't think it will be death (as it would be copying another series they were both in) but I'm sensing sad ending ahead and my heart hurts at the possibility.
Ok, 12th Dec, 2021 is Teh's flight ticket. It is also the waiting list announcement day for Aew. He gets in if…
I'm in pain at the possibility of Teh giving up his place for Aew. I'm also in pain at the possibility of regardless who goes to the university, that if one goes and the other doesn't, that will be what will separate them for good. :(
Yes, hasn't anyone been 17/18 before? Or were we all very mature and rational during those times? Of course he'll…
Yes. They're not allies at all. They want to use people's sexuality for their own fantasies and benefits and could care less about the lgbt+ community.
Yes, hasn't anyone been 17/18 before? Or were we all very mature and rational during those times? Of course he'll…
Yes. It's as if some writers (mainly fujoshi writers) have a fetiche with lack of consent or treat it as irrelevant. And yes, also in some of my favorite BLs (TTTS I'm looking at you dead in the eye, now that's absolutely toxicity) with boys that are older and more experienced than Teh and Aew and should no better than r*ping and ass*ulting their love interests. Actually there's not even comparison between Teh as a confused young boy and these (criminal ) characters.
I think it makes a lot of sense and also suits Teh's personality. This is also the part some people fail to understand…
I agree with what y'all have been discussing. Most times we don't get to be with our first love for the rest of our lives. Most times it's not meant to last but instead to teach us something, make us love with no restraints that come later in adult age and smile when we look back. I think the reason why I want them so much to be happy together is due to the chemistry between PP and BK. It's just that every scene where they are together is pure art (plus yes them being the mains and the characters themselves) that I need more. I think that if these characters were played by 2 actors without this chemistry "spark" together, I would't be so invested in them as a couple. However, I'll accept anything (as long as no one dies) because this show is pure art and life has its twists and turns.
LOL I STILL am unable to digest the fact that ppl think teh is selfish and whatnot lol wtf he's your regular teenager…
Yes, hasn't anyone been 17/18 before? Or were we all very mature and rational during those times? Of course he'll do dumb stuff and be selfish sometimes, plus all the confusion that is going on in his heart with all these new feelings he probably feel he wasn't supposed to feel. This is the realistic depiction of a young boy. And despite all those feelings, jealousy, and all that his heart can't translate yet (hint: the second OST song Can't Translate), he still supports Aew and wants to help him and be there for him. His heart is pure, just confused by his feelings, inexperience and age. Also when some people say "toxic" I think about all the sexual ass*lt troupes, stalking, violence and etc in many of the BLs out there and not a misguided confused young boy navigating the hurdles of first love.
This is exactly what I even now have settled upon after lodes of overanalyzing! I even wrote something similar…
I've been wondering why the alternate name is BKPP the series which I then found out that it's the actors names "Billkin and PP" and this reenforces our theory. I also have no idea about their relationship in real life except that they're very close in real life, met in highschool, had a period far from each other and then both entered the Nadao production company and starred on another show before this (which has a sad ending for them) and then the director of that show wanted to work with them again and wrote these roles specifically for them. I'm in pain.
I'm sorry for spamming this comment section but i can't stop thinking about this series. I know I said I was going…
Also something dawned on me now. There are these BKPP rumors about having been in a relationship, breaking up but remaining close friends. And then there's the director saying that the series is based on real life... please tell me I'm wrong by connecting these 2 dots.

But your theories are making more and more sense to me... and the director said that it's not an ending that will please everyone. I'm scared lol

Whatever it is, it will hurt us. I'm not ready.
