Very cute BL with Pond & Phuwin

PLOT: While chasing an actor (Aran) who works for his company, the ML (Thee, a tough and ruthless CEO, a "mafia boss") meets Peach, a photographer and Aran's friend, and falls madly in love with him. But Peach's lifestyle and values ​​are very, very different, and Thee need to adapt drastically if he wants to win his heart.

+++ Short, fun, lighthearted series (there are no villains), even a bit like Cinderella! The touches of humor are well-placed.

Mais le mode de vie, les valeurs, ... de Peach sont très très différents et Thee va devoir durement s'adapter s'il veut conquérir le coeur de Peach.

+++ Série courte, fun, légère (il n'y a aucun Villain) même un peu Cinderella ! Les petites touches d'humour sont bien placées.
+++ Pond & Phuwin sont très cute, handsome, mais l'alchimie n'est pas évidente. En particulier, Phuwin ne semble pas très à l'aise dans les scènes intimes. Pond est bcp plus naturel.
+++ Les OSTs sont agréables
+++ La réalisation est efficace, sans temps mort, avec [décors, costumes, maisons, accessoires, etc.] sans aucune fausse note.

### Série un peu "bizounours" où tout le monde est beau, tout le monde est gentil :) :)

PLOT: The two leads have been neighbors since childhood, secret allies, because their families hate each other and argue daily over petty things. At university, they also belong to two rival departments (lots and lots of fights). But nothing prevents their feelings from evolving into something romantic, even passionate.

+++ The two leads are amazing, subtle, and cute (✿◠‿◠)
+++ The OSTs are pleasant.

### The friends (especially Wai) act more like middle schoolers than college students. You can't be that immature at 20-22 years old!

### The parents (Pran's mother & Pat's father) are unbearable, stubborn, and immature... Appalling!

=> The quality of this show is not the story or the production, it's the cuteness and the chemistry beetwen Nanon and Ohm (the 2 leads).

PLOT: les 2 leads sont voisins depuis l'enfance, alliés cachés, car leurs familles se détestent et se disputent quotidiennement sur des mesquineries. A la fac, ils appartiennent également à 2 départements rivaux (bcp bcp de bagarres). Mais rien n'empêche leurs sentiments d'évoluer vers qqchose de romantique, voire passionné.

+++ Les 2 leads sont extraordinaires, subtiles, mignons (✿◠‿◠)
+++ Les OSTs sont agréables.

### Les amis (en particulier Wai) ont plus des comportements de collégiens que d'étudiants. On ne peut pas être immature à ce point à 20-22 ans !
### Les parents (Pran's mother & Pat's father) sont insupportables, entêtés et immatures ... Affligeant !

How can a near-masterpiece from 2010 age so badly?

A must-see from 2010 that's become an over-the-top vintage melodrama

PLOT:

[Episode 1: Conception] The father of the main character, CEO of a backing group, couldn't have a son with his wife. He got a maid (Mi-Su) pregnant. When his wife found out, she tried to force Mi-Su to have an abortion, but Mi-Sun ran away. The wife then got pregnant by the manager (her ex-lover) and finally had a son.

[Episodes 2-6: Adolescence] 13 years later, still on the run and threatened by the manager, Mi-Sun decides to entrust her son, Tak Gu, to his father. He will have to face the hostility of the wife, the manager, the son... Finally, Mi Sun disappears, and Tak Gu sets off alone to find her.

[Episodes 7-23] Bakery apprenticeship and sibling rivalry
[ep 23 - 30] Father's stroke and Tak Gu takes over the company

+++ The actors are good and do their everything to make us believe in this silly story

BUT:

### This kind of melodrama (jealous wife, illegitimate child, etc.) isn't watchable anymore. => The narration is VERY outdated (｡ŏ﹏ŏ) The OSTs are (halas) typical from that era :(

### The characters are stupid (they talk and trust just about everybody / things are left unsaid / sentences are unfinished / ...)

- Why is Mi-Sun so afraid of Manager Han? What can he do to her? Isn't there a police force? No law? What era is this? 1980?
- The father character is TERRIBLE: cowardly, incompetent, helpless... Aren't there private detectives in 1990? He still trusts Manager Han? Doesn't he ever have any doubts?
- ML has no brain, just rage and brute force ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ The director wanted to make him someone rough and frustrated, but why is ML always yelling like he's in the army? In the second half of the series, the ML becomes Jesus Christ (the one who forgives everyone, gives a second or third chance, etc.).
- Mi-Sun (the mother) stops thinking when it comes to her son (she did meet the President, but didn't ask where (and how) her son was??).

=> GRRRRR: I'm so tired of these idiotic/stupid/naive characters... just for the sake of melodrama ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ Towards the end of the drama, the characters' behavior becomes unbearable (FF 1.5) ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ

=> What shocks me is that in 2010-2012-2013, viewers considered this series a masterpiece!
Recent reviews are much harsher. This kind of melodrama, overacted, full of shouting, crying, and underhanded dealings, just doesn't fly anymore. In 2021, "Young Lady and Gentleman" tried the formula again, and it didn't work!
My rating isn't too harsh because I know the series is 15 years old and formats have changed. Furthermore, the actors are talented and did what was asked of them.

[ép 2 - 6 adolescence] 13 ans + tard, tjs en fuite & menacée par le manager, Mi-Sun décide de confier son fils Tak Gu, à son père. Il devra affronter l'hostilité de la femme, du manager, du fils ... Finalement, la mère disparait et Tak Gu part seul à sa recherche.

Les OSTs sont d'époque :(

### Les personnages sont stupides (parlent et font confiance à n'importe qui / non-dits / phrases inachevées/ ... )
- Pourquoi Mi-Sun a-t-elle peur du manager Han ? Que peut-il lui faire ? Il n'y a pas de police ? pas de loi ? C'est quelle époque ? 1980 ?
- Le personnage du père est NUL : lâche, incompétent, sans ressource ... Il n'y a pas de détective privé en 1990 ? Il continue à faire confiance au manager Han ? Il n'a jamais de doute ?
- Le ML n'a pas de cerveau, juste de la rage et de la force brute ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ Le réalisateur a voulu en faire qq1 de brut, de frustre, mais pourquoi le ML crie tjs comme s'il était à l'armée ? Dans la 2e moitié de la série, le ML devient Jésus Christ (celui qui pardonne à tus, donne une 2e ou 3e chance, etc.).
- Mi-Sun (la mère) ne réfléchit plus dès qu'il s'agit de son fils (elle a pourtant rencontré le Président, mais n'a pas demandé où était son fils ??).
=> GRRRRR : j'en ai marre des personnages débiles / stupides / naïfs ... juste pour faire du mélo ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ Vers la fin du drama, le comportement des personnages devient insupportable (FF 1.5) ヽ(≧Д≦)ノ

WARNING !! A dark, bloody, and violent BL series

What does a dying person think about?
SYNOPSIS: Great, the son of a wealthy family and a student, meets Tyme, a surgeon thirsting for revenge the death of his parents. Great has the ability to see four minutes into the future. It's love at first sight beetwen them, but Great's family's activities are shady, illegal, and violent (gambling, corruption, etc.). +++ Fantastic actors. All are convincing and talented, but Bible and Jes delivered a breathtaking performance.
+++ Well-crafted direction (lighting, framing, sets, pacing), including the intimate scenes (which, in my opinion, are necessary given the drama's hyper-realistic tone).
+++ Excellent OSTs that enhance the atmosphere.

### The timeline is rather confusing (multiple flashbacks of scenes [with different versions], a weird mix of different time periods, etc.). Jes and Bible's solid performances keep us glued to the screen, but... it's a mess in the viewer's brain (＞﹏＜) until the final episode (some explanations, but many plot holes remain).
### Very explicit sex scenes (including some with a minor actor [What are thinking his parents about ?]) and extreme violence: not for all viewers!

=> WARNING!! Intriguing, mysterious, harsh, and violent series. Now I need something cheesy and fluffy :)

Face blindness once again, but at university this time!

PLOT: FL, a student with face blindness, is quite isolated. Her best friend convinces her to join the Photography Club, where she makes friends, and even finds love. ### As if by chance, the main character is disfigured in an accident :(

+++ Le seul acteur convaincant dans cette série, c'est le ML, Chen Bo Hao. Les autres doivent améliorer (bcp) leurs acting skills :(

Events are organized for the Club, love triangles arise, the struggle against past traumas unfolds, and the romance between ML and FL develops.

### Some narrative arcs are far-fetched: the obsessive bully, the sudden change of heart from ML's parents, the emphasis placed on (innocuous) lies, etc.

Organis° événementielle pr le Club, Triangles amoureux, lutte contre les traumas du passé & tissage de la romance ML/FL.

+++ 2 sweet romances (ML-FL & Best friends) avec des personnages attachants et bien dvlpés.
+++ Réalis° rythmée et bien travaillée : cadrages, lumières, etc.

Short-form series, fluffy and easy to watch, but lacking depth.

PLOT: FL, an executive at a TV show production company, meets a young 10-meter air rifle athlete (ML). They hit it off, and she recruits him to participate in a reality show. Then she remembers that ML was her childhood neighbor, whom she used to dominate and mistreat. The relationship between ML and FL evolves, but other suitors are waiting in the shadows.

+++ I really like the two main leads (Lu Yang Yang & He Yu). However, the ML has an exaggeratedly childish attitude.
+++ Very nice OSTs.
+++ The tone is intentionally light, with repeated meetings/party between friends regardless of the circumstances.

BUT
### The characters' behavior is poorly written:
- A younger main character, who wants to seduce a Jie Jie, would try to adopt a mature, very rational demeanor. However, that character is irritatingly puerile and childish.
- All the colleagues think about and comment ONLY on the protagonists' love lives/crushes, with repetitive and hyper-intrusive questioning! Such an environment in real life is unbearable.

### The character of Gao Yuan is unbearably stupid. I know he's there for comic relief, but it's not even funny!

=> Watchable if you leave your brain at the door OR if you do something else at the same time, but the series is far from exciting despite the quality of the CL.

PLOT: La FL, cadre ds 1 Cie de product° de show TV, rencontre 1 jeune athlète du tir à 10 m (le ML). Ils sympathisent et elle le recrute pr participer à 1 reality show. Elle se rappelle enfin que le ML était le voisin d'enfance qu'elle dominait et maltraitait. Les liens se transforment entre ML & FL, mais d'autres prétendants guettent.

+++ J'aime bcp les 2 main leads (Lu Yang Yang & He Yu). Cpdt, le ML a une attitude exagérément enfantine.
+++ OSTs très sympas.
+++ Le ton est volontairement léger, avec des regpts entre amis répétés qqsoit les circonstances.

### Les comportements des personnages sont mal écrits :
- un ML plus jeune, qui veut séduire une Jie Jie, essayera d'adopter un comportement mature, très rationnel. Ici, le ML est svt puéril, enfantin.
- Tous les collègues ne pensent et ne font des commentaires QUE sur les amours / crush des protagonistes, avec un questionnement répété hyper intrusif ! Un tel entourage IRL, c'est insupportable.
### Le personnage de Gao Yuan est insupportable de bêtise. Je sais qu'il est là pr l'aspect comique, mais ce n'est mm pas drôle !

=> Regardable si vous laissez votre cerveau à la porte OU si vous faites autre chose en mm temps, mais la série est loin d'être passionnante malgré la qualité du CL.

Enjoyable Xianxia with Li Hong Yi, but a quite tired story

PLOT: The FL, whose spiritual roots have been sealed, dreams of adventure and heroism. She meets the ML (leader of another sect who hunts Evils incognito) and discovers that her powers increase when she touches him. She clings to him, and together they overcome numerous obstacles (and fall in love, lol).

+++ Two interesting CLs performed by talented actors. Li Hong Yi, as usual, displays his poker face, and the chemistry with Lu Ting Yu isn't there, but it's acceptable.
+++ The direction is uneven: the pacing, fast at the beginning, gradually fell down ; the sets feature overly obvious green screens; etc.

The OSTs are fitting but not memorable.

### The storyline is full of genre clichés: poisoning, revenge, the good fox demon, trapped in a parallel world, the unwitting demon FL, death/sacrifice, etc. And these clichés are clumsily strung together!

=> I finished it in FF and I won't be watching this series again. Why repeat tired stories? It takes a minimum of creativity and freshness to keep the viewer engaged...

PLOT: La FL, dont les racines spirituelles ont été scellées, rêve d'aventure et d'héroïsme. Elle rencontre le ML (chef d'1 autre secte qui poursuit des Evils incognito) et voit que ses pouvoirs augmentent qd elle le touche. Elle s'accroche à lui et ils vont ensemble surmonter de nbreux obstacles (et tomber amoureux, lol).

+++ 2 CL intéressants et interprétés par des acteurs talentueux. Li Hong Yi affiche comme d'habitude sa poker-face, et l'alchimie avec Lu Ting Yu n'est pas là, mais ça passe.
+++ La réalis° est irrégulière : le rythme, soutenu au début, s'essouffle peu à peu ; les décors montrent des fonds verts trop évidents ; etc.
OSTs adaptés mais pas mémorables.

### La storyline reprend tous les clichés du genre : empoisonnement, vengeance, bon démon renard, coincés ds 1 monde //, FL démon qui s'ignore, death / sacrifice, etc. Et ces clichés s'enchainent maladroitement !

=> J'ai fini en FF et je ne regarderai pas à nouveau cette série. pourquoi répéter des histoires usées ? Il faut un minimum de créativité, de fraicheur pr tenir le spectateur en haleine ...

A new (and good) adaptation for a book I read 50 years ago :) :)

Season 1 adapted from the James Clavell novel, a US-Japan collaboration (we can feel the Hollywood touch :)

PLOT: The ML, an English sailor/explorer, reaches the shores of Japan (the only foreigners tolerated being the Portuguese and their catholic missionaries), with his ship in distress and the remainder of his crew. The first meeting is terrible. He eventually meets, with the help of a translator named Mariko, the local lord and one of the five regents, Yoshii Toranaga. Toranaga is in a deadly conflict with Ishido (the highly ambitious regent) and the mother of the heir to the throne, holding the other three regents and their families hostage. Everyone is preparing for war.

+++ Superb cast: Cosmo Jarvis, Sanada Hiroyuki, and Anna Sawai are absolutely remarkable.
+++ High-budget production: sets, action scenes, effects, etc. Perfect!
+++ The tone is violent and bloody (like life of that era :) and the series provides a good overview of Japanese history, culture, and society [without resorting to clichés].
+++ Great, epic OSTs.

### The violence is sublimated in this series, with scenes that are not for the faint of heart. The director lingers with undisguised pleasure on scenes of seppuku, decapitation, torture, etc.
### The series probably follows James Clavell's novel well, but isn't necessarily close to historical reality (especially concerning Tokugawa).

=> I'm eagerly awaiting season 2!

PLOT: Le ML, marin anglais / explorateur, aborde les côtes du Japon (seuls étrangers tolérés, les portugais et leurs missionnaires), avec son bateau en perdition et le reste de son équipage. L'accueil est terrible. Il rencontre finalement, assisté d'1 traductrice Mariko, le seigneur local et 1 des 5 régents, Yoshii Toranaga. Celui-ci est en conflit (mortel) avec Ishido (régent, super ambitieux) et la mère de l'héritier du trône, détenant en otages les 3 autres régents avec leurs familles. Tout le monde se prépare à la guerre.

+++ Super cast : Cosmo Jarvis, Sanada Hiroyuki et Anna Sawai, absolument remarquables.
+++ Product° high-budget : décors, scènes d'action, effets, etc. Parfait !

Mini series (24 x 10" without credits) of TT / Revenge / Rom

PLOT: The FL, a general who dies in a fight to stop a coup, is sent via a token to the 21st century, in the body of a deceased heiress. The heiress, suspecting the ML of being linked to her father's death, married him (a marriage of convenience) to save her family's hotel and investigate. But as the investigation unfolds, threats and dangers (to both the FL and the ML) accumulate.

+++ Guo Jia Nan and Amber Song as CL are talented and convincing.
+++ Coherent storyline (even if the ending is ambiguous).
+++ Excellent OSTs.
+++ Lively direction (even if sometimes abrupt).

### Some twists are quite predictable because the villain characters are a bit caricatured.
### The ending is too rushed.

=> Nice series (with some indulgence) thanks to the talent of CL.

PLOT: La FL, générale mourant ds 1 fight pr enrayer un coup d'état, est envoyée via un insigne au 21e siècle, ds le corps d'1 héritière décédée. Cette dernière, soupçonnant le ML d'être lié à la mort de son père. a épousé le ML (mariage d'affaires) pr sauver l'hôtel de sa famille. Mais au fil des investigations, les menaces/ dangers (envers la FL et le ML) s'accumulent.

+++ Guo Jia Nan et Amber Song en CL, talentueux et convaincants.
+++ Storyline cohérente (mm si la fin est ambiguë)

Wow! My first journey into the Omegaverse!

PLOT: A handsome Alpha-S (ML, CEO, of course) is being courted by a gorgeous, fragile "Omega" with an orchid scent (MC). The MC is secretly being helped by ML2 (Alpha - CEO of another biopharmaceutical company, which owns a drug that could save ML's father). ML2 has a very close secretary (ML3), an Omega who pretends to be a Beta, in love with ML2 (who hates Omegas). However, the fragile, orchid-scented Omega, obsessed with ML, is hiding secrets :)

This completely unfamiliar world initially seems outlandish, incongruous, absurd... But the actors are brilliant and manage to draw us into this fantasy. Kudos!!

Wahouuu ! Ma 1e plongée dans l'Omegaverse

PLOT: Un bel Alpha-S (ML, CEO, bien entendu) est courtisé par un magnifique, fragile "Omega" au parfum d'orchidée (MC). Il est aidé en sous-main par le ML2 (Alpha - CEO d'1 autre Cie bio-pharmaceutique, détenant un médicament pouvant sauver le père du ML). Le ML2 a un secrétaire (ML3), oméga, très proche, qui, amoureux du ML2 qui déteste les omégas, se fait passer pr 1 bêta. Cependant, le fragile omega au parfum d'orchidée, obsédé par le ML, cache des secrets :)

Cet univers, totalement, inconnu, semble farfelu, incongru, absurde, ... dans un 1e temps. Mais les acteurs sont géniaux et arrivent à nous faire adhérer à cette fantaisie. Kudos !!

Vertical Drama => Mix of Revenge / hot romance

PLOT: The FL, held captive and abused by her uncle, has a one-night stand with the ML after an incident at her (hated) cousin's wedding. She then disappears, which piques the ML's curiosity and attraction. He does everything he can to find her and get her out of this mess.

+++ Lots of hot scenes, with great chemistry within the CL. The ML (Ke Chun) is very handsome :) as full Green Flag ML.
+++ Overall, a coherent story and a message for girls who are victims of abuse :)

Starts off with a bang, continues in a cute/fun way, and ends weird.

A short-length series (24 X 15")

PLOT: The FL, a jewelry businesswoman, after being druged, has a one-night stand with the ML. She then discovers he's the son of a CEO of a large company and the future son-in-law of her best friend. Despite a rocky start, the ML becomes her assistant.

+++ The ML, Ke Chun, is very handsome and sexy. His outfits (perhaps very Chinese-style) are quite effeminate from a Western perspective (pearls, flowers, etc.).
+++ The pacing is fast (short format), even abrupt, with plot holes.

??? Why are the OSTs K-pop?

### Some of the actors are unconvincing. I know that given the format, it's difficult to give depth to the characters, but some still have to improve. The professional settings aren't very believable.

But most importantly, the final episode is incredibly dramatic, and on top of that, the ending is confusing: do they both die? Are they saved and get married? It's really unclear :(

=> I'd love to see CL in longer series, but this is the first time I've watched a show where the lead actress is also the screenwriter.

+++ Le ML, Ke Chun est très beau, très sexy. Ses costumes (peut-être très China fashion) sont assez efféminés d'un point de vue occidental (perles, fleurs, etc.)
+++ Le rythme est rapide (format court) voire brusque, avec des plotholes.

??? Pourquoi les OSTs sont-ils de la Kpop ?

### Certains acteurs sont peu convaincants. Je sais que vu le format, c'est difficile de donner de la profondeur aux personnages, mais certains ont tout de même une bonne marge de progression.
### Les contextes professionnels ne sont pas très crédibles.
Mais surtout ### L'épisode final est hyper dramatique, mais en plus, la fin est confuse : ils meurent tous les deux ? Ils sont sauvés et se marient ? C'est vraiment pas clair :(

=> J'aimerai bien revoir le CL dans des séries plus longues, mais c'est la 1e fois que je regardais une série dont l'actrice principale est aussi la screenwriter.

Mini-series: A mix of History, Gender, and Politics

PLOT: The ML, son of the deceased Emperor Xia (a coup), is adopted by a cunning and ambitious eunuch. The FL, daughter of a consort, pretends to be a man, as the Fifth Prince to survive with her nanny. Twenty years later, the new emperor dies when the eunuch faction dominates the court. The ML chooses the Fifth Prince as his puppet-successor. But the FL (emperor), clever as ever, gradually gains strength to get rid of the eunuch faction.

+++ Very well acted: I really like Li Ge Yang (that's why I watched the drama), but Huang Hao Yue is very convincing. Their romance is touching but realistic (no happy end between an emperor and a eunuch).

+++ The other actors are good, and we hate the Great Villain!!

+++ The direction is intense, with a fast pace. The tone is dark and bloody (with good fight scenes). The effects of a limited budget aren't apparent, except for the lack of grandiose scenes and the number of extras.

### The OSTs sometimes seem out of place with the atmosphere.

=> A good short-length series if you want action, mystery, and blood. Avoid it if you're hoping for a cute, heartwarming romance.

PLOT : Le ML, fils de l'empereur Xia DCD (coup) est adopté par un eunuque rusé et ambitieux. La FL, fille d'1 consort, se fait passer pr le 5eme Prince pr survivre avec sa nounou. 20 ans + tard, le nvel empereur meurt qd la faction des Eunuques domine la Cour. C'est le ML qui choisit le 5e Prince comme successeur - pantin. Mais la FL (empereur), smart, va peu à peu prendre des forces pr se débarrasser de la fact° Eunuque.

+++ Très bien joué : j'aime bcp Li Ge Yang (c'est pr cela que j'ai regardé le drama) mais Huang Hao Yue est très convaincante. Leur romance est touchante mais réaliste (pas de HE entre 1 empereur & 1 eunuque).
+++ Les autres acteurs sont bons et on déteste le Great Villain !!
+++ La réalis° est intense, avec 1 rythme soutenu. Le ton est sombre, sanglant (bonnes scènes de fight). On ne sent pas les effets d'1 budget limité sauf absence de scènes grandioses et nbre de figurants.

### Les OSTs semblent parfois décalées par rapport à l'atmosphère.

Part 1 (past life) of the novel by de Mo Bao Fei Bao

PLOT: The ML, uncle of the new emperor (6 y-old), has moved to another state to demonstrate his loyalty. To secure the emperor's throne, he has sworn never to marry or have children. The FL, the only daughter of the Cui clan (the Imperial preceptor), was betrothed to the CP (ML2 - the emperor's nephew) from childhood. After her father's death, she becomes aphasic and is sent to the ML as an apprentice. They gradually develop a very strong bond. When the emperor is an adult and more robust, the betrothal is broken off. But the ML2 will do everything to possess the FL and the kingdom...

+++ Bai Lu and Ren Jia Lun bring all the power and emotion to this tragic love story.
+++ Lots of excellent actors (including a very young Wang Xing Yue as the obsessive ML2)
+++ Top-notch cinematography (high-budget series): costumes, sets, war and fight scenes... everything is perfect!

BUT
### The characters' behavior isn't always logical, especially from the ML, foolishly obstinate in keeping a promise made to the deceased emperor, even if it means trusting traitors (the Dowager Empress, ML2, etc.). Is he supposed to be smart? The FL who lives in a military mansion for years and doesn't even learn the bare minimum to defend herself? The FL who agrees to marry a man she doesn't love rather than become a nun? Etc.

=> I watched this series (reluctantly), praised by commentators, to get some background before watching "Forever and Ever," but I found it extremely frustrating despite the quality of the acting and production. I certainly won't watch it again.

PLOT: Le ML, oncle du nouvel empereur (6 ans) s'est éloigné dans un autre état pr montrer sa loyauté. Pr sécuriser le trône de l'empereur, il a juré de ne pas se marier, ni d'avoir de descendant. La FL, seule fille du clan Cui (Précepteur Impérial), a été fiancée au CP (ML2 -neveu de l'empereur) dès son enfance. Devenue aphasique à la disparit° de son père, elle est envoyée comme apprentie chez le ML. Ils dvlpent peu à peu 1 lien très fort. Qd l'empereur est adulte et + solide, les fiançailles sont annulées. Mais le ML2 est prêt à tout pr avoir la FL et le royaume ...

+++ Bai Lu et Ren Jia Lun qui donnent toute la puissance, l'émotion, de cet amour tragique.
+++ Bcp d'excellents acteurs (dont Wang Xing Yue tout jeune en ML2 obsessionnel)
+++ Top cinématographie (series high-budget) : costumes, décors, scènes de guerre et de fight ... tout est parfait !

### Les comportements des personnages ne sont pas toujours logiques, en particulier ceux du ML, stupidement obstiné à respecter une promesse faite à l'empereur défunt, quitte à faire confiance à des traitres (impératrice douairière, ML2, etc.). Il est supposé intelligent ? La FL qui vit dans un manoir militaire pdt des années et n'apprend même pas le minimum pr se défendre ? La FL qui accepte d'épouser 1 homme qu'elle n'aime pas plutôt que de devenir nonne ? Etc.

=> J'ai regardé cette série (à contre-coeur) portée aux nues par les commentateurs pour avoir les références avant de regarder "Forever and ever", mais je l'ai trouvé extrêmement frustrante malgré la qualité des acteurs et de la production.
Je ne la regarderai certainement pas à nouveau.
