PLOT: The FL, a courtesan, escapes from the brothel by becoming an informant (and helping to solve the case) for the local magistrate (ML2). She ends up becoming a constable in his team. She meets the ML (a wealthy, spoiled, and carefree young nobleman) whom her father sent away to mature. He falls in love at first sight, but the FL & ML2 (engaged to the daughter of a governor) have developed feelings over the course of their investigations. In addition, a powerful and twisted character (Qin Yi) has long had his sights set on the FL... They'll all be caught in a whirlwind of plots, twists, and power struggles.

Could have been a good series with a longer format

PLOT: The FL, a new consort of the Young Master (ML), is sent to the Ancestors' Hall as soon as her husband leaves for war (a schemes ploted by her jealous, evil sister-in-law). Five years later, she returns to the Manor to obtain the precious Lei Pill, the only one abble to cure her sick son. She makes a pact with the ML: she helps him become the Young Prefect, and he gets her the pill.
+++ Convincing main leads, the actors are good and do their everything to bring this story to life.
+++ Quick-paced production (too quick, which doesn't allow for depth to the characters) with interesting effects.
+++ Good OSTs

### Low-budget series (and it's obvious in the sets, costumes, etc.)
### The plots are a bit to obvious (it almost feels like a short-length series). The director wanted a compact format for a long story with multiple twists, which makes for a strange "summary."

=> Meh, despite an excellent cast.

Rom-Fam with Uee & Ha Joon

PLOT: The FL, a sports coach, carries her entire family (mother, three brothers) on her shoulders. She leads the sessions of the ML (a chaebol's grandson who recently returned to Korea to find his missing grandmother). The company has been taken over by the uncle, aunt, and cousin following some shady dealings (murders?), and they have no intention of handing over the group.

+++ The CL = Uee & Ha Joon
+++ Go Joo Won is excellent in ML2

### The description of the families, all toxic, is damning. Some characters (FL's mother, ML's aunt, etc.) are detestable. Both deserved psychiatric treatment :(
### Lots of pointless scenes and characters (ridiculous landlord, neighbor, etc.). It slows down the story.
### The final story arc (father's return & liver transplant) is ridiculous, and the last episodes with the LF escaping for a year are even worse and incoherent, which ruins the ending.

=> Without the last episodes, I would have had a better feeling because I really like the main leads. It's still a relatively good family drama.

### Dernier arc narratif (retour du père & greffe de foie) ridicule et l'arc des derniers épisodes avec fuite de la FL pdt 1 an encore pire et incohérent, ce qui gâche la ending.

=> Sans les derniers épisodes, j'aurai eu un meilleur ressenti parce que j'aime bcp les main leads. Cela reste un relativement bon drama familial.

PLOT:
FL = daughter of a poor family of dry cleaners, almost blind, ML = stepson of a large corporation president, grandson of a loan shark magnate.
FL sleeps with ML, a college classmate, to experiment it before losing her sight. Years later, FL's family accidentally discovers a huge sum of (dirty) money stolen from ML's mother. They take advantage of this to cure FL's blindness, and hide the rest under their grandparents' mattress. Everyone will gradually be corrupted by this money... The President's abandoned son, taken in by FL's family, finds his place with his father after this one fires ML and his mother (his ex-wife).

+++ A dark, caustic comedy, dealing with human greed (the ML's mother is a terrible example).

La FL couche avec le ML, camarade de fac, pr expérimenter avant de perdre la vue. Des années + tard, la famille de la FL découvre par hasard, une énorme somme d'argent (sale), volée à la mère du ML. Ils en profitent pr faire opérer la FL, et cache le reste ss le matelas des gds-parents. Chacun va peu à peu se faire corrompre par cet argent ... Le fils abandonné du Président, accueilli par la famille de la FL, retrouve sa place auprès de son père après que celui-ci ait viré le ML et sa mère (son ex femme).

+++ Réalis° vive / OSTs qui donnent le ton :)

Superb Xianxia with Tiffany Tang and Liu Xue Yi, perfect!

PLOT: The FL, goddess of craftsmanship and inventor of the supreme weapon (the left hand), refuses to kill the ML, a high priest of a sect, to recover the Left Hand he carries. She therefore negotiates to descend among mortals to prevent him from becoming a demon and recover the Hand at the end of his mortal life. But the ML is exploited and threatened by multiple enemies (especially a "vengeful" goddess) who plots to reclaim the Hand as quickly as possible.

+++ Really great actors, all of them: main leads (awesome), gods, demons, humans, kids, etc. The characters are endearing and well-developed.
+++ Coherent, well-written story, on the theme "no one is a saint, everyone has the right to hold grudges/grievances."
+++ Lively direction, without dragging, with excellent OSTs, sets, costumes, CGI, fight scenes, etc.

=> It's flawless, addictive, gripping... definitely worth watching again to savor the magnificent performances of Tiffany Tang and Liu Xue Yi.

PLOT: La FL, déesse de l'artisanat et inventrice de l'arme suprême (main gauche) refuse de tuer le ML, gd prêtre d'1 secte , pr récupérer la Main Gauche qu'il porte. Elle négocie donc de descendre chez les mortels pr l'empêcher de devenir 1 démon et récupérer la Main à la fin de sa vie mortelle. Mais le ML est exploité, menacé par de multiples ennemis (en particulier une déesse "vengeresse" qui complote pr récupérer la Main au plus vite.

For the pleasure of watching this great couple again :)

PLOT: The FL and the ML have been traveling between several universes since S1. For this S3, they find themselves in the S1 kingdom, but it is matriarchal. She is the second princess (niece of a "twin" empress) and he is the eighth son of the Mo family (who helped build the kingdom, but lost his power - his father wants to overthrow the throne). They try to return to their universe, but must face love rivals (especially the empress's plans).

+++ Awesome CL with Liang Jie & Xing Zhao Lin, with very natural chemistry and lots of kisses.
+++ Very good actors (great cast)
+++ Excellent production, fast-paced, with meticulous cinematography (images, sets, costumes, fight scenes & choreography)

Intriguing plot & prettty dark story, with excellent acting

PLOT: The ML, a great chef, is disturbed by the emotions he feels from the FL, just as he was with his twin sister, who disappeared 18 years ago. He returns to his hometown (where the FL lives) to open his restaurant and solve the mysteries of the past. An ex-couple, now colleagues in the local police force, is also investigating a series of assaults/murders.

+++ Excellent acting, both the two leads (Yeo Jin Goo & Mun Ka Young) and the supporting cast (Shin Jae Hwi makes a very credible Villain).
+++ Well-executed suspense, with flashbacks providing clues at just the right time.
+++ Well-written storyline but with heavy themes (child abduction, murder, violence, etc.) and we don't need to mention the everyday cowardice of selfish people. All the characters are dark to varying degrees...
+++ Excellent OSTs, sometimes soothing, sometimes distressing.

### Series that could have been shortened by several episodes, the pace becomes slow in the last third (eps. 11-12)
### Culture of leaving things unsaid (to protect you) or "I'll cut you off without listening": VERY annoying! I know this is meant to lengthen the drama, but the directors/screenwriters should find something else.
### Lots of clichés: a weak female protagonist venturing alone into a creepy place in the middle of the night => why not call the police? Too reassuring? Doesn't anyone get the surveillance cameras fixed?

=> A good series, well done, but I'll not rewatch it cause of the heavy atmosphere.

A good Rom-Business series with Vengo Gao and a mature cast (and it's nice)

PLOT: The FL, a saleswoman in a luxury store, is fired following a complaint from the FL2. She is recruited by the ML, CEO of a conglomerat, and gradually rises through the ranks. The FL's cousin (FL3), a high school student and then a college student, is the love interest of the ML's brother (ML3). At the same time, ML2 (is in a more or less secret relationship with FL2, a fierce ML's competitor), wants revenge for a mistake made years earlier, when ML didn't help him. To do this, he uses the jealousy of ML's second brother (Director & shareholder of the group).

+++ Great actors, all of them, and an awesome Vengo Gao!

### Series a bit long and not really addictive.

La cousine de la FL (FL3), lycéenne puis étudiante, est le love interest du frère du ML (ML3). //, le ML2 (en couple +/- secret avec la FL2, concurrent acharné du ML, veut se venger d'1 erreur commise des années + tôt, où le ML ne l'a pas aidé. Pour ce faire, il utilise la jalousie du 2e frère du ML (Directeur & actionnaire du gpe).

PLOT: The FL, a poor student with a gambling-addicted father, steals the motorcycle of the ML, the son of a rich family, to go to the hospital when his mother dies. To pay off the debts, she becomes the guardian of the ML's brother. They become a couple and get married (ep 13). 3 years later, she is a lawyer & her brother is a doctor. The father is still trying to get closer.

PLOT: Six friends (3 girls, 3 boys) have supported each other since childhood (difficult live for 4-5 of them). They are united around Ying Zi (who has the sole responsible parents). They separated at the Gaokao and reunite 12 years later, at Guan Chao's wedding. Events then allow them to face the traumas of the past.

+++ Great actors: remarkable performances from Yang Zi and Fan Cheng Cheng in difficult roles.

+++ Good recreation of the era (2005-2009)

### Constant switching between the two eras, is annoying.
### Completely unrealistic "Healer Game" story arc.

I hesitated to watch it because I'm not a fan of short-lenghts dramas, but this one doesn't suffer too much of the usual flaws.

PLOT: The "gangsters", a group of different children, harassed in their small town, grew up very united. The FL (mixed race child - Dead mother - living in her father's motel) fleed at the age of 20 to go to Seoul. She experienced very difficult times, poverty, but ended up becoming an interior decorator. ### Heavy story, with an unbearable & immature FL (she has trauma, OK, but even so !!!), the ML's mother who really needs therapy but whom everyone puts up with, contrived coincidences, the unexplained change of heart of the harassers, etc.

=> The bad writing spoils a great cast and a good plot :(

PLOT: Les "gangsters", gpe d'enfants différents, harcelés dans leur petite ville, ont grandi très unis. La FL (enfant métis - mère DCD - habitant ds le motel de son père) a tt quitté à 20 ans pr partir à Séoul. Elle a vécu des moments très difficiles, la pauvreté, mais finit par devenir décoratrice d'intérieur. Elle revient ds sa ville natale pr rénover un motel, et retrouve son "âme sœur", le ML devenu vétérinaire (père DCD, mère psycho mariée 4 fois) et ses amis. Ce retour difficile permettra-t-il à la FL d'affronter ses traumas ?

### Story pesante, avec une FL insupportable & immature (traumas OK, mais qd même), la mère du ML qui devrait se faire soigner mais que tt le monde supporte, des coïncidences grossières, le revirement des harceleurs inexpliqué, etc.
