I wasn’t confused on the MY and TTJ one BUT… I thought the guy behind the mask was TTML, I did try to guess who he was. I thought it was his previous life. 🤣🤣🤣

actually I think people who didn’t recognise the 2 helpers would have thought they were going to find a new Demon Lord…? But I was still confused when I saw them yest because I only partially recognised them. Hahaha. I think this entire discrepancy probably happened because of the face issue thing…

But apparently there is no such thing as previous demon Lord or new demon Lord… it’s more of the xianxia thing whereby the “one and only” demon Lord is trapped/sealed, actually if you recall the dream arc, “he” didn’t die though, I remembered he was still screaming…. So, he has Leo Luo’s face with one name, TTJ. 🤣 at least for the drama it is so, I don’t think it would have been so implicit in the novel…. 🤔 because there wouldn’t be any face issue…..

I swear it’s that face thing basically, damns. Lol.

I was confused yest though, LOL. I was wondering huh…. Why did the 2 guys from Ming Ye’s arc appear now…. Wasn’t it a dream….? Or more of like it was ancient history.

But in a way it isn’t a spoiler because I don’t know if you realised it yet but some of the MDL peeps realised this on their own…. Because the implication is that the dream arc isn’t random/some coincidence when they were looking for the white dragon and the viewers wouldn’t have been confused….. with that whole face thing? So for example did you notice the 2 demons helpers, the female and the male…. Do you know who I’m talking about? The one that appeared in the episode…. Yesterday again…

Basically wot I’m trying to say is, the author wrote everything all inter-connected…. And I think people who recognised the 2 helpers, that’s how they discovered it themselves. So those two are the ones that appeared in Episode 1 at the start and they were also the same people in Ming Ye’s dream.

Yes, and he should have Leo Luo’s face which is why it was hidden behind a mask the entire time. Because having TTJ battle with a TTJ who is Ming Ye with the same face is….. confusing for viewers…..? Actually I don’t know if this is meant to be a spoiler… I actually think for someone who is watching from episode 1… maybe? I don’t know. I don’t really know if the intention of the screenwriter was he/she wanted us to discover it on our own or…… they will explicitly reveal it later….? The full story and background is in one of the threads below… you will have to search.

Btw, if you are confused about this, because I was… coz I also only realised it today when someone else in MDL replied my thread, actually you should take note that in the dream, there is a bigger meaning to it, the demon Lord in the mask is actually TTJ. And people in MDL has coined the term Demon Lord 1.0 for the guy in the mask….

basically the demon Lord in the mask in the dream should have Leo Luo’s face and Ming Ye should have a different face, the same goes for the 3 of them.

Ah yes, he really did know about it before. That’s why I was a bit surprised when he acted so shock when they were in mid-air!

But some of my Caucasian friends and colleagues also told me it is more of an Asian thing for some reason… we’ve analysed it before and think it’s related to education and family/cultural upbringing.

Exactly. But I know in psychology there is this a real thing that stems from women’s innate motherly love that out of reflex responses and maternal hormones they just want to “save” people… like kids, helpless people, the sick etc etc.

I think that’s how the whole domestic violence thing started and yet surprisingly a lot women choose to stay in marriages despite of domestic violence….
