GJ is not important in the novel. It ends with RZZ going to prison. She killed XYN. Basically the end is irrelevant because even the crime committed was entirely different. It was related to illegal loans. Almost the entire plot is different and even the relationship dynamics are different.
Shen Nanqiu is a very attractive lady in the novel. Same age as XYN and it wasnāt a one-night stand, like they were in love with each other. But XNY doesnāt really love her the same way he loves RZZ.
Hence justā¦ā¦. Forget about the novel. I was quite surprised actually. I thought The Confidence was so different from the novel because of regulations. This one is the same but Iām sure this has nothing to do with regulations.

Yea. I did it with a friendās accountā¦. Uhhhhhhā¦ I donāt think you are missing anything. I think the drama was written better than the novel BUTā¦.. the thriller plot was written better in the novelā¦.. albeit a completely different crimeā¦. In a way I kinda regret reading the novelā¦
