For me it was a fine watch, nothing too crazy.. Just a standard cdrama, I had enough interest to finish it through and that says a lot cause it was too many episodes for my taste… The drama revolving the main couple with the misunderstandings/ fights was frustrating and it took waaay too long before they truthfully “got together”and after that it feels like they did not get enough time together, having to deal with all those characters and plots.. Which were A LOT.. some characters for example would disappear and reappear so many episodes later to the point I almost forgot they existed. The side romance with the crown Princess I could not care less about..I found myself skipping at quite a few points.. Anyway very pretty actors, pretty costumes etc I wish I could have enjoyed it even more seeing the ratings but alas it is what it is.

Him losing a leg would have made SO MUCH MORE sense on why he would feel like a burden to her and would not want her to find out about it... Of course he would still be wrong for what he did but we would be more sympathetic and understanding towards his situation. But we can't have our perfect dream boy lead be a cripple can we?? They chickened out and it made the story so much worse (ruined the ending for me)

He broke up with her, completely cut off contact for many years, made everyone else lie to her about him for yearsss, took her dog for some reason and to add insult to injury made the cafe which was her dream on his own.
Like no, her finding out the cafe and dog coincidentally was not romantic… The whole point was for them to do it TOGETHER.. In her case I would be pissed to find out he went and did something we planned to do together on his own after cutting me off from his life for years.

And the reasoning for all of that???? Because he didn’t want to burden her with his medical problems and he figured she would be “happier” without him?? That was HER decision to make..

He also didn’t want her to be sad after finding out how badly he was hurt?? Uuum he was in a deadly car accident in which she didn’t even know if he was alive or dead for days? Of course he would be injured… Why would she expect him to not be?? And how was him breaking up with her with no explanation and completely cutting her of his life less “hurtful” than her finding out he was injured??? It doesn’t make sense…

If he was actually crippled in some ways by the accident.. I would understand more him not wanting her to be with him but no… He was relatively fine, graduated college, became rich for some reason, got a job and he still kept her cut off after all of that…
They made such a big deal of her finding out about his “condition” and her choosing to stay with him… Like him having a personal doctor and getting easily tired was such a bad thing for a partner to handle

And yes he doesn’t want to burden those he loves with his problems…He feels like he has to solve everything himself yada yada… It’s fine and all to understand and sympathise with the reasoning behind his actions… But if those actions end up causing immense HARM to the other person, it gets to a point where understanding is not enough! And in my opinion his reasoning does NOT justify the turmoil he put her through

I was willing to ignore the weird sibling dynamics and enjoy the drama for what it is until we got to the break up/low phase towards the end of the drama cause what the hell was that?!?!?!?!

…..She had every right to hate him and not get back together with him after that btw
If there were permanent repercussions to his injuries other than him getting tired easily (which I heard may be the case in the novel) maybe this whole thing would make more sense but as it stands…..No….actually No… the romance lost me at that point

I really liked it for the most part but I had to skim through the last 5 or so episodes… I feel like they should have done more by that point to advance the story in meaningful ways and keep it engaging … still an 8/10 for me

Yeah outside of some interesting games (not including that last game that was dreadful to watch) and some wholesome Arisu-usagi moments the season did feel kind of pointless…. It felt in my opinion like a more underwhelming version of squid game s2-3… Not saying that sg didn’t have it’s missteps but at least the new characters were leagues above better (I could not care for the life of me for most of the new characters in this), the narrative reason for the protagonist to go back was better handled than here and it generally had a more intriguing overall plot… not to mention the ending of this season being the same idea???

Also reading the comments here I understand people are annoyed with Usagi for going back with the other dude and yeah I agree the motivation was weak but that’s just cause the writers needed an excuse for them to go back and do this season… Outside of that how is her character ruined??? She is still the same??? Idk it feels to me like some people are way too easily turned against female characters.

Meeeh it was ok… Could have been better.
The plot was kinda messy, especially the ending and I feel like we needed more time with all the side characters to get more connected to them cause they had potential… But at least we got to see pretty people, young woo gives me such rowoon vibes

It was not as bad as many made it out to be….. except for ep 2 what they did there was criminal!! I still can’t decide what pissed me of the most… Ending was kind of what I was expecting but I would have liked to get way more of the frond man…. Oh well… It was still an entertaining watch if you can get over that episode

I’ve been watching this on Viki and the comments every time she appears on screen are just insufferable… way more shallow and mean spirited than they claim she is being.. makes me want to like her more instead.

Cause god forbid a clearly young girl raised in luxury is being spoiled and childish and lies just like the ml does.

And all the hate coming from other girls leaves me in such bad taste… We should be better than this

I get it if you find the female lead annoying but the amount of hate I’ve seen on her is just too much… She is genuinely not that bad (and I’m 14 eps in)

Does she have to have cool powers and be perfect in personality and skills to live up to y’all standards of what a fm lead “should” be??

It seems like some of you are way too quick to hate on flawed female characters… just an observation on my part

I suppose they couldn’t go over the standard 20 eps which is a shame cause the story definitely needed a bit more

I wish they expanded on the ending more…. It feels like they run out of time and did not conclude everything properly, I wanted to see more for a more satisfying conclusion otherwise it was such a good drama I loved it!

Not feeling the romance in this one….. feels unnecessary tbh but still I’m only here for Seo kang joon

They could have done so much more with them together (and I’m sure you would have liked that too) the actors and the chemistry was there which is why it was disappointing for me.
And about the kiss I mentioned regardless of the times there were plenty opportunities behind closed doors to show them more intimate but they chose not to…. I’m not asking for something crazy and it’s not the first drama to do so but they were TOO reserved for what I would have liked.

It was all well and good until they decided to drag it out for more eps with the most pointless and nonsensical drama making the Sml super clingy and delusional and the fml annoyingly stupid

This pissed me off… they had a perfect couple in the making (Ksh/iu) and instead they chose to do this… ksh feelings in this drama made no sense I’m sorry I had to drop it

I actually just watched are you human too because of him (I couldn’t wait for more eps of this drama) and I loved it! I disagree about it being average, outside of some weird writing choices in the last eps I found it to be very good, I would say underrated even given the rating and most of all it had no boring moments to me which is pretty rare for a kdrama….
Outside of that tho no other of his series descriptions interests me enough to watch tbh
