Glad I waited till I had the time to watch all this in one go. This show is addictive. Didn’t think any character was unnecessary, which is something I find easily in a lot of series. I am going to assume this show was rating bombed because 7.7 is atrocious. Anyone who wants to watch this, please do. You won’t regret it.

Kinda miss the three friends Toki, Todo and Rise. Best part of this series for me.

I have always tried to ask and failed to get an answer, from myself or others as to why we humans find it so easy to dislike or even hate someone simply because of them being different from us in any way. I simply don't get racism to be honest. My best friend is darker skinned than me and I'm privy to some of the things she has gone through. She gets that same treatment as you, even from our own people. And yet to me she's gorgeous. We have other people treating us bad because of where we come from and how we look, and then those who are supposed to be our safe haven do same as well. So where do you go from there. It's just sad. I always say "when we are cut, we bleed. And unless someone has a medical condition, the blood is the same color". When I see all the comments bashing whole countries because of the few people from those countries who are online supporting this person, it makes me even sadder.
I am also so sorry you have to go through such things from those who should protect you. Can't even imagine what that is like.

I do understand up to a point what she was trying to say. But the African continent is made up of thousands of different ethnic groups each with their own societal norms and behaviors. My country for example has many different native groups with about 100 ethnicities and over 10 languages. Even my ethnic group has so many different variations in language, beliefs and behaviors. It is not right to lump everyone into one pot and make such broad statements. Painting the whole Africa as a culture where poverty has made it normal for children to be sold in marriage or used as sex slaves is not right. History will show that such practices are not only inherent to Africa but worldwide. But that's what growth and evolution is about, learning and changing from some of these outdated and harmful practices. I have seen, heard and personally experienced a lot of discrimination and racism from so many different people but it does not mean I also go ahead and blame everyone from those countries. Let us try and hold people accountable for individual actions. It is not in trying to call out wrong doing that we ourselves end up dragging innocent people along. I am not one to comment on social media but I guess we all have our trigger points LOL. I can understand the frustration of trying to explain yourself to someone else whose beliefs are totally different from yours. And apologies for my long essay.

I made a reply to @KunagaKishi's comment that African cultures support child sexual abuse but I am no longer able to see said comment or subsequent replies including mine. I assume I have been blocked. I guess whoever did so does not like the fact that I asked that a whole continent not be judged by a few people's actions.
@brokendishes thank you. Yes I also saw a lot of the comments defending him on Insta, X and even here. Social media can indeed be a chaotic and toxic place. And yet it still doesn't mean I would say all Nigerians support such actions. Which is what I was trying to convey in my earlier message. Unfortunately, everyone has their opinions just like us. And social media gives us all the platform to express them, be it negative or positive. We can only hope that the majority are doing better in their day to day lives and that the world is not really only filled with all the bad things we keep seeing online daily.

Africa is a whole continent made up of over 50 countries with hundreds of cultures. Even if you have had bad interactions with some people, let’s not make such broad generalisations. This person has fans from all over the world still defending him, even from his own country. And the number of places you will find on earth where there isn’t instances of sexual abuse, including those of minors is probably non-existent. It’s doesn’t make it right, but it doesn’t mean that we should group a whole continent under such statements. Thank you.

Turning him into a vampire would have been better than what vol 3 churned out. Felt like this season was too scripted. At some point it even reminded me of His Man🙄. They are leaving too many things unanswered.

Has the answer been found? Cos that blood in the shower scene needs to be explained. 😩
