if you define happy ending as them reunited, dating, and happily in love then it’s not a happy ending. They’re not dating. Tbh, they’re not even particularly friendly with each other in ULS, and their screen time is like 15 minutes at most in the whole series. It is more appropriate to say it’s an open ending. The ending leaves us with the idea that they have mutual feelings for each other. That’s it

it’s kind of wild that there’s a statute of limitations for murder. this show is unintentionally (or maybe it’s intentional, actually) pointing out a lot of flaws in the judicial system.

Im raising my score on this one bcs impulsively buying the last 2 eps for $4 (+ $5 for a subscription) must mean I like it more than I thought 😭. Seriously though, they both give me the worst second hand embarrassment, and between all the cringing and awkward laughs I find myself forgetting about my own problems, which is actually really nice so thank you to this series lol.

3 thoughts: 1) that poor turtle has such a shitty small tank 2) what is the age difference between diew and his ex? since he’s currently a first year and they presumably dated 2 years ago when he would have been a high school student and his ex is apparently already a vet was he like dating a grown ass man at 16 or something 3) God isn’t as innocent in that argument as some of you are trying to make it seem. Instead of just being upfront about whatever he’s feeling and assuming, it feels like he’s laying traps for Diew to fall into or testing him and running with whatever conclusions he leaps to when Diew fails those tests. He also got really petty when Diew was about to explain who gave him the bracelet (i.e:, that which boyfriend gave it to you line). Diew also isn’t innocent. He’s lied like 3 times when asked about his ex and he has a tendency to shut down emotionally and retreat when things get tough which makes it really difficult to resolve conflict.

i hope they follow takara no treasure and give us a special ep bcs i really need to see their boyfriends era!

i waited to watch ep 7 and 8 together and if knew episode 9 was the last ep i would have waited for that one too 😭 but omg during my one week without sugar dog life i think i forgot how cute isumi is 😭 i was squealing and kicking my feet every time he breathed. also amasawa bridal carrying him out of nowhere almost sent me into cardiac arrest. these two are so cute i can’t handle it!! i think this is my favourite JBL this year.

since the usual fansubber is busy until wed so won’t be subbing ep 7 until later in the week, i decided id wait until ep 8 is subbed and watch eps 7-8 together but omg the wait has been KILLING ME 😭 i miss this show so bad already

ngl i thought i was signing up for a GL, BL office coming of age romance, and i don’t feel like that’s what i got in the end. i feel baited with GL, like they gave us so much build up and potential only for it to fall flat at the last second and for bahmee to go back to tae. they spent like 70% of the screentime that was dedicated to romance on that storyline too, so it feels extra disappointing. then with ryan and jane, again, in the little screen time they had there was so potential for their relationship, only for it to fall flat at the last second in a different way. while they are together, it is not a satisfying end to their romance at all. it simply does not make sense that jane ghosted ryan for 5 years and then comes back and everything is peachy. the only thing i really appreciated about this drama was the “coming of age” aspect, the rest was a big let down.

that’s what’s killing me. 5 years of ghosting and i’m supposed to believe they’re just back together no issue 😭 we were finally getting some more development for their relationship and they were like ~just kidding~ right after baiting us with judy and bahmee for half the show. wtf were they thinking 😭

like you, i find the main leads boring, but i just finished (skipping through) ULS and the second couple has like 10 minutes of screen time total across all 10 eps and very little relationship development 😭 if you’re only watching for those two you might want to skip ULS tbh ahsjs (i wish i did)

(as someone who watched this for the first time after time of fever) honestly, as it comes to ho tae and dong hee at least, imo time of fever is WAY better on its own without watching ULS at all. i didn’t enjoy ho tae and dong hee’s relationship in this. i was really unsatisfied, and i felt like some things didn’t align with what was in the movie/make sense considering what was in the movie. unfortunately, i also didn’t connect with the main couple, so it was kinda meh all around for me

that just might be one of the hottest first kiss scenes i have ever wayched omg. they’re actually insane for that. it’s not even the kiss itself but the build up

Because he was too nice and his ex gfs, who originally like him for being nice, start to dislike that he’s nice to everyone, not just them, so they dump him. Isumi’s mother hen friend (Yohei I think is his name) has a similar issue with girls, with some of them apparently hating how nice he is to Isumi. I agree, a fake kiss is even more distracting than no kisses imo.
