the way people hate this so passionately that they are leaving multiple negative comments each week is so…. 😭 you can drop the show? like i’m all for constructive conversation and genuine discussion but at what point are y’all just making yourselves miserable sticking with a show you hate lol

i honestly can’t think of one jbl (besides this one) that i have watched recently that has deeper more realistic kisses tbh 😭 i can for korean, taiwanese, and thai bls but not japanese. not saying there are none, i just can’t think of any off the top of my head lol

those kiss scenes almost had me falling off my bed. i’m so used to jbl kisses being just simple touches of the lips. i wasn’t expecting all that

just finished the ep and the way bahmee and judy have dodged accountability in the cheating mess is giving me the ick. they all had a part to play in it but i feel like tae is the only one who acknowledged what he did wrong. like i can understand judy being caught off guard in the moment but why didn’t she apologize to bahmee for kissing her even though she knew bahmee was drunk and confused? and why can’t bahmee admit her communication was lacking and although she has a right to her feelings of neglect, cheating wasn’t acceptable. feels like the only one holding bahmee (or someone who isn’t tae) accountable for her part is pah lmao (and that’s not even his place). i do like bahmee and judy together though so i would like to see some growth as it comes to how bahmee communicates as she explores her relationship with judy. id also like a happy ending for tae whether that’s the potential for new romance or an awesome promotion or something lol

(im only 3/4 way into the episode) pah saying “what’s up lover girl” to bahmee was crazyyyy 😭 ngl i burst out laughing. i love mess and she lowkey deserved it. i think the most interesting thing about the bahmee-tae (ft pah and judy) drama is how i can see all the sides. i think they’ve all done something to contribute to the mess (some more than others obviously) but i also can see why they did what they did even if i don’t agree with it or see it as the most mature course of action. it’s realistic messy as hell and entertaining

That’s fair. The two concepts often overlap since they both involve being condescending and undermining someone’s capabilities/intelligence. I would argue that trying to save him by controlling who he talks to (taichi), going so far as physically dragging him away etc crosses into treating him like a child, but I don’t really care to argue the semantics. I am more upset that she’s undermining his agency.

Maya infantilises Kohei a bit imo. He’s capable of choosing his own friend/crush and determining if he’s being used, like she says, for himself. It’s frustrating because it feels like the other side of the coin on what he’s already dealt with because of his disability, like the girl who assumed he couldn’t take out the trash himself because he’s hard of hearing or the boys who were afraid to play basketball with him. Maya means well, and I understand her protectiveness but Kohei is not a child.

The way they think and act makes me feel like I am watching a highschool romance ngl 😭 They don’t read as early/mid 20s to me, particularly Natsume. That said, I am enjoying this so far. Their face cards are giving. They’re both stunning

to me it seems like slightly shorter than average x average height with similar builds 😭

there’s no way there’s that much difference between actors’ heights 😭 imma need them to pull out a measuring tape because i don’t believe it lmaoo. google says it’s more like 178 and 167 but even that seems a bit of a stretch to me haha, but maybe they just give off shorter energy

the way they’re pretending takara and taishin aren’t basically the same size is making me giggle. takara is like 2 inches taller at best yet taishin is like senpai’s sweater is so long on me 😭

i kind of like bahmee and judy together when i forget about tae, then i feel bad for him lol. i hate when ppl forgive cheaters though, so i hope he dumps her whether she and judy get together or not. that said, i gotta say, i think bcs bahmee has developed feelings for judy, she’s sort of looking for an excuse to justify her feelings changing for tae. in other words, she’s looking for reasons she’s not the “bad guy” for essentially emotionally (and now physically) cheating, so it’s almost like she’s like “ok but what is he doing to deserve this.” for example, there’s no real reason to assume tae has forgotten about their anniversary. it’s normal to plan surprises for anniversaries. she’s giving him no grace and also not communicating anything about how she’s feeling. that said, tae could be more communicative. i get he’s a lowkey guy, but he could still do more to express his affections in bahmee’s love language, not to the point where he’s overbearing like bahmee (no shade lol), but some more obvious gestures like making her lunch too etc. my real beef though this episode actually is with judy. bahmee is drunk off her ass (and judy knows this) and clearly going through emotional turmoil since she was just venting about her boyfriend. kissing her back was such a bad idea 😭 judy comes across very mature, so i was expecting her to pull away and say “this is bad idea” or “you’re drunk”.
