This is why I love japanese BL dramas. Some are really fluffy and sweet, some are darker and sexier, some funny and silly, and some have a bit of everything, like this drama. This was an excellent, complex episode. I can’t wait for next week. Although, even though I haven’t read the manga, I gotta say I’m a bit nervous about the final episode. I just have a feeling it may be a bittersweet ending 😫

Which is one reason it’s so nuts to me that A-kun’s parents blamed a kid for their son’s death instead of the hotel! Don’t get me wrong, I understand they were grieving and maybe not thinking clearly but damn they really misdirected their anger.
I gave this a go outta curiousity, and I don’t know if it was the sleep deprivation, but I actually enjoyed the first 3 episodes or so. It was like a fun high production gay soap opera, but then after that it got so convoluted and hard to follow…it became less fun and more ridiculous imo. By ep 5 I was just fast forwarding and now by ep 6 I don’t think I can make it 2.5 more eps to the end 😭

ngl same 😭 tbh i gave up on thai bl altogether like a year ago. we’ve been getting non stop bangers from japan (with some runner ups from korea and taiwan) and it’s made me pickier

LMAO. even yoh says his damn self that mizuki’s behaviour is too much even if he liked it. considering yoh was both surprised by and resistant to being tied up and staying tied up, there was no non verbal consent either. and bffr not tying people up without first being told they’re okay with that is a far cry from signing a consent form before every kiss or hug. stop projecting whatever weird hang up you have about consent on to me.

i watched this sort of like i watched my beautiful man, where i was like "these people are crazy....but i can't stop watching". i don't even usually enjoy the miscommunication trope or glaring red flags but all 8 episodes have been absolutely riveting for me tbh. i'm sad it's over
I’m really enjoying this so far, but I think I will stop watching and wait for some good/official subs to come out. I feel like it would be even better if I could actually understand everything lol
This was really good, but I feel like it needed more obvious romance. The leads have chemistry (as seen in that second kiss) and the friendship was there (the basis of every good relationship), but I needed a bit more purely romantic moments.
I am giving this one another go. I originally dropped it after a few episodes when I felt it was getting very soap opera-y but I really enjoyed the couples’ chemistry, so I think they deserve a second chance lol
