they won’t stop releasing bts, but we won’t be getting it daily anymore and there won’t be a set schedule for release either. based on my understanding too of why fans were upset, they will tone down what kind of bts they show us. in the announcement, they said domestic and international platforms or something like that, so we will be affected by the reduction in content, yes.
despite this drama not being airing in china, it actually is meant for chinese audiences. they knew chinese fans would access it via VPN, and chinese fans are how they make their money.

literally all this bitching and harassment over his character who is going to leave in a few eps anyway?? like what did they accomplish?? what were they hoping to accomplish?? the show was filmed LAST year too like what’s done is done.
the BTS of the nc scenes aren’t even that deep. the way some of these cnetz have been acting, you’d think they were releasing gay porn clips. we saw a couple extra kisses, saw the actors joking around with eo, and got a look at the production process. it was entertaining but ultimately not that deep. not to mention it was all approved by the actors.
genuinely i’m so done with cbl now lol. i will finish up revenged love, of course because i love it, and maybe catch up on desire abo but that’s it. i’m not putting myself thru this drama fest ever again lol. there’s always some ridiculous shit happening behind the scenes that ruins the experience when it comes to cbl i stg.

the series was obviously already toned down at least a bit, which atp is whatever they did what they needed to do, but we had the BTS to kind of fill in some of the blanks. now we’re not even gonna get that.. or at least not as often as before and potentially also toned down. this is really irritating, i’m ngl. i loved the BTS content. it made the 6 days wait until the next episode a billion times easier and was my needed shot of daily dopamine. i don’t understand why some of these domestic “fans” are so determined to ruin this experience for everyone. it’s like everyday someone else becomes the target of their harassment. are they not tired???
and the explanations i’ve been seeing for why cfans are mad make no sense. wang shuo’s character is annoying, he is meant to be, but his screen time is not unnecessary. he adds so much complexity to cc’s character and is driving the plot forward. i don’t understand the bitching and harassment over his like 8 mins of screentime. it’s ridiculous.

ugh i want to respond to this with a video i saw on rednote of chinese fans talking about the difference between like and love in the drama, but im about to start working again so i can’t rn, but i think wang shuo was being deadass actually. i think he has a very warped idea of what love is bcs of his family, mental illnesses, and attachment issues. he associates love with violence. i do think he was purposely trying to sew discord between them though when he said that, yes wanting them to fight perhaps but also wanting wsw to be insecure.
but i also don’t agree with him at all. it’s clear chi cheng absolutely loves wsw and his tolerance and swallowing his jealousy in that moment was part of it.
just wanted to point another thing out about wsw making cc jealous on purpose this ep that i think some ppl are missing. it was a test. wang shuo said love is about being unreasonable and petty. it’s arguments and fighting, while just “liking” someone is more peaceful and tolerant. wang shuo implied that’s why he and cc would always fight while dating bcs cc loved him. wsw wanted cc to get mad at him to prove he loved him, not only just liked him. in bed, when cc tries to reassure wsw about wang shuo and says “if i didn’t like you i would have kicked you out,” he says “like” not “love” and that just makes wsw even more insecure (along with cc’s tolerant reaction to wsw hanging out with wang zhen)
