I'm so confused with constant change of # of eps, don't know anymore if it is finished or not and also Viki is going to release it apparently? but somewhere I read about season 1 and season 2? what's going on? lol Nevermind, I'll leave it on hold until everything is finished (series and subs) and will re-watch it again
ngl I wanted more present scenes in the ending but i get it that this drama is more about the past. Still its…
Oh me too, I was literally watching the time hoping there could be more present scenes...
Would have liked to know more about everyone's adult life (what are they doing for a living and such) and more information about Sho's situation as well.
So basically Q didn't have sex with Seira but Sho did and that's their daughter? 😮 Can you remember me when was it that Sho and Seira got together? I watched it with long intervals between episodes that I don't seem to remember now.
Also, the post card at the end... can we assume that Sho is still alive but went -somewhere- abroad? Any clue as to where was he on that photo? I really thought that Sho was dead given how everyone talked about him and reacted to that.
It was a nice drama all in all. Definitely couldn't guess too much about where the story was heading to so that was nice, I mean, they didn't easily give it away.
Not the 40+ year old woman blaming the 20+ man because he ruined her life. Like take some responsibility for your actions as well 🙃 Anyway, this was faster than I expected. Wouldn't say it was worth it on therms of the story because it all started too quick and ended on the same way on a veeery superficial way (like we don't get to see more about the people around them and their reactions and such). It was somehow a way too easy to solve scandal idk if I make sense ¿?
The thing I do appreciate of the drama and that I did like is the general vibe. The music was calming and visually it was somehow soothing as well, so I really appreciate that :)
Wonder if "Dragon Zakura Season 2" can make it into this list? Dunno why romaji is always with Z but it actually refers to that kind of tree (and hence to the flower as well?) and the sakura kanji is used on the name. Also, according to previous comment by MDL, I think it is ok to add the original story (Dragon Zakura) as well?
Just started watching, still on week 1 and I'm already in love with the character of Tora-chan. Like her tone of voice, her gestures, her mimics, and everything, it shows how genuinely curious she is of the outside world, trying to understand things beyond what society expects from her on the most naive/innocent way just for the sake of it. I mean, it is not like she already has big ambitions and so on, but she just has the genuine urge to comprehend her surroundings, which will eventually (I suppose) lead her to bigger ambitions for her future. Which is a very natural development for an average person. Looking forward to keep watching!
So... where to start? We all know this was a letdown after all the hype and the attention the drama had previous to its premiere, and unfortunately they didn't do anything to prove us wrong. Plot kept deteriorating until the very end.
The way everything was solved at the end was just the easiest thing I've ever seen on a show, it is ridiculous. It would have made sense for a comic genre or a lighter genre, but not for the mystery/thriller/serious show that they were so hard trying to convey.
On top of that, the fact that they were so fixed on keeping the "we cannot be together" and "shouldn't be together" melodrama until the very end when there was absolutely no point on doing it is just a joke. And then just complete it with using the phrase "We were not destined to meet" just to justify the title of the show?! but then she runs back to him, literally making a fool of herself with the previous statement. It is so childish.
I have so many things to say and complain about the unrealistic almost amateur plot, but I feel like I'm not even making sense as I cannot seem to put my thoughts in words and it is not even worth to try it lol so let's just say that (unfortunately) it was a failed attempt of a high caliber worldwide aiming show and I only enjoyed it because of the settings (my favorite Yokohama spots, the nice apartment and so on) and nice clothing (I so want Ishihara's closet for my work).
The amount of negative comments of this drama is concerning to me as I haven't watched it yet. I had very high…
You should give it a try and then decide to keep watching or not after two or three (or less?) episodes lol As you are somehow already warned, you will probably do better than most of us who started watching with very high expectations and unaware of anything (comments, rating, and so on) lol
Side comment, I know it is a J-Drama trademark for people (specially FLs) to run around too much on dramas, but for some reason I associate this with Ishihara Satomi much more lol probably her way of running with heels or something, it rings to me every time.
Is there really a way to process the image in such a way as to be able to clearly make a face somehow recognizable?! Either way (even if there's a way to get a clearer picture) from the very start the reflection was barely viewable, it is highly unlikely one can make something out of it, let alone jumping to the conclusion that is was a red can lol
I was looking forward to the end on episode 10 but then watched ep.9 and while it was nice to have some more background it took the whole ep and was like, are they going to wrap up everything on a rushed ep 10?!?! apparently it turns out no. Now I'm confused 🙃 why are they making us suffer further with this? lol just give FL (or the kid) a nice quick ending.
LMAO the finale of Shibuya's drama dumping both characters and remaining cool like with a "none of you deserve me" vibe 😂 they should release that drama for real.
Nevermind, I'll leave it on hold until everything is finished (series and subs) and will re-watch it again

Wonder if there's more info on the manga???

so this will actually have more eps? I'm still on the middle of the drama
