I don't know about others but I'm loving this ;) Young and Ro Seo have nice chemistry and I kinda like the story…
I like the drama as well because I have to laugh a lot and I actually find the story and characters interesting. I do like the CP, although he has his annoying moments. Still, I think that he has good potential for character development. You are right, everyone has their own taste :)
No no no i prefer bl novel adaptation. at least i won't be force heartbroken by seeing the girls between them…
You speak from my soul. My views on romance are pretty much the same.
Yes, that's true and I'm happy for people who do find their soulmate as their partner. To me, soulmate could define either a romantic or a platonic connection. For example, my best friend is my soulmate. We get each other and don't even need words between us. And although we are both pretty different, I feel that our souls resonate. I also think that the stories often seem more the platonic type because they really focus on the connection and understanding between the two. And yes, when kissing and sex appears, it's pretty clear than that they are romantic soulmates. This is something that rarely happens (at least it feels that way to me) in romance storylines between a man and a woman.

I'd love some good friendship-soulmate dramas. I'm pretty bored with romantic stuff (I don't have a single romantic bone in my body in real life xD). so I'm always looking for dramas that don't focus too much on romance. I like this drama though, because it's really funny at times and, as you mentioned, there is no annoyingly stupid female lead x) ... I do like strong female characters that can hold their own and don't fawn over a man all the time.
I also don't get it why there always has to be a male and a female lead. Why does a story even need romance at all? I'd rather have a good story where romance is maybe just a side plot but not the main element. Most of my favourite dramas are this way. There wouldn't automatically be a need for a "fixed" ML and FL because the story wouldn't dictate that. I'd love stories about two ML or two FL who are soulmates in a platonic sense. Some people call it queerbaiting, but to me it actually makes more sense. Not every man/woman is gay (most people are not), so why must all drama/movie characters with a close friendship be automatically gay? No one would have friends because if you got along well with another person you must enter a romantic relationship. Of course, that doesn't mean that ther shouldn't be romantic stories about two ML or two FL, but I think that there should be all types of stories, so that everyone can choose those that are most interesting for them.
Once again there is a drama that I don't like nearly as much as everybody else. I don't hate it and I don't even dislike it, but I think it's only 'ok'. To me, it just got too boring after some time. There are way too many episodes for that kind of story, imo. 25 Episodes would have been more than enough. What I do like are the relationships between family members and best friends. That's the only reason I continued watching. Anyways, this is just my opinion. Everyone just has different tastes.
I'm watching it right now and I really like it so far. I've stumbled upon this drama a few weeks ago but I don't have a lot of time to watch dramas at the moment, so it might take a while to finish it, but I am always looking forward to the next episode :)
So many good historicals dramas airing right now before school starts xD Love and Redemption, Dance of the Phoenix,…
I feel your pain. I'm starting my new job at the beginning of September and won't have much time to watch, but there are so many dramas I want to watch right now :D
Yes the writing is good and the characters are A+ (I adore the main actors as well), but how in the world one…
How many episodes have you watched? Because I also struggled at first, the first 12-15 episodes are pretty slow. They are a pretty extensive introduction to the world and the characters, imo. But around episode 13 ot 15 (can't remember exactly) the story really started and then I wasn't bored for a second. But that's just my perception, of course.
Joy of LifeEvernight (first season only)The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty (based on a BL novel)Guardian (based on a BL…
Hello Human :D (sorry I had to) I'd go with Guardian ... although it's set in modern times it is really good and the 'bromance' between the main characters is superb! I watched it after the Untamed and that really helped me not to fall into a deep slump :D
Wow you speak from my heart! Your article and your opinion on the drama came pretty close to my own. I just could never put it into words that well. The only think that really differs is the opinion on Xue Yang. I wasn't into his story even a little bit and I couldn't wait for his storyline to end. I wanted him to die everytime he was on screen xD
I am so looking forward to this :) ... I also love historical dramas and I like them a lot more than contemporary ones. So I'm always happy when a new one is released. It's such a shame that they release so many contemporary ones and only once in a blue moon a historical one is released, but I guess it must be way more expensive to do because of all the costumes and props.
I am not really a fan of the cast, but I will still check it out because the plot sounds very interesting to me.
I see the FL was the actress who played Cao Cao's daughter in Secret of the Three Kingdoms. She held her own there…
I actually think that she's not bad at all. Don't know where all this criticism comes from. I guess people don't like her because she is not your typical over the top gorgeous female lead :D
The story has potential but the way they develop the characters is a bit annoying esp the FL. From the start and…
I don't mind her at all, I actually like her. I mean, she seems a bit stupid at times but I don't think her annoying. I've seen some female leads that were really annoying in comparison :D
