Hidden gem of Bromance detective themed drama

It literally dropped out of nowhere with not much promotion for it on IQIYI but it was a pleasant surprise because we were in a very bad mood after the Outrageous Censoring that happened to Youku's bromance drama (The Way Home ) after it already aired.
I wasn't expecting much as I know China comes heavy on Bromance dramas by Censoring them and How I Was Wrong with this one ,,
IQIYI platform released half of the drama's episodes on the first day of its release,, 8 Episodes on the first day for VIP members, and the second day Three episode ,,, the drama was complete in only four days LOL
And the Bromance was Bromancing so strong
For example, the second male lead kept finding excuses to become the male lead's best friend and when the male lead went into a Coma, the second male lead literally broke down sitting on his bed and didn't leave him for one second and the female lead was standing there watching their bromance Blooming LOL
The second male lead kept hugging the male lead catching him every time he fell ill and sometimes faced danger for the male lead and tried to help him despite his lack of smartness or fighting skills
The female lead was there for Censorship's sake only
She was literally standing watching the male lead as she likes him getting all the care and love from his best friend

This drama also has a good detective story and the cases were really weird and complicated,, it wasn't Cliche detective drama or just bromance for the bromance's sake No, it was deep and meaningful

The Only downside of that Haste release of the drama like it was Hot Nuclear Weapon is its Subtitles which were AI-generated translations and it wasn't very good

Another thing, sometimes I felt the acting skills of the second male lead weren't as good as the male lead's acting skills
I really Thank IQIYI for its full release of the drama before BL fans make edits that attract Censoring police to come down on it
I hope to see sa econd season of this drama as it was hinted in the finale that there is a second season and I really hope that IQIYI takes all the Bromance dramas of China on its platform

They will need evidence for it

The Most Bromance filled episodes
Episode 6 -7- 14 -15-16
and amazing Skinship No cuts No deleted scenes

This one has amazing Brmance and it already aired
the full drama is out now

It wasn't BL in the first place but it had many hugs and emotional scenes that's considered borderline BL

I 100% Agree with your comment
coincidentally I just made a similar comment on IQIYI's newest Bromance drama that was Just released in five days only
the whole bromance drama is out now without any cuts and I've enjoyed every second of it
I'm talking about Towards the Truth drama

IQIYI is very smart platform it released the drama amidst the popularity of S+ costume romance drama Moonlight Mystique that's good diversion
fans are interested so much in Moonlight mystique that won't focus on random Bromance drama
so they released all the episodes of this amazing random bromance drama in just five days for VIP members they sold it before any BL shippers start making AI bl edits of this amazing Bromance
well done IQIYI
You nailed it in releasing this gem of Bromance clean drama
but the only downside of the issue is the rushed auto-translated subtitles

Not at all

we knew about the deleted scenes because they exist in the trailer of the drama itself and everywhere online

From episode six they deleted every emotional bromance scene in the drama it was painful to watch

Yes , I appreciate the writing of this drama
if it wasn't for the bad subtitles we would have enjoyed it more

I loved the drama and the male lead so much
I've watched many dramas of the male lead before and I know he's an excellent actor

The story is good but his acting skills are lacking to be honest
yes , the character was written that way but he over does sometimes and sometimes he fell short , I can tell
I'm a veteran watcher of dramas LOL

Youku deleted half of its latest bromance drama
the way home drama because of the fans and censorship

After tomorrow the last two episodes because they released 11 episodes out of 16

I laughed so hard when the female lead slapped the male lead strongly and the second male lead kept putting medication on his friend's face and saying to her How cruel you are almost to kill him after he was saved LOL
The second male lead is softer than the female lead

The scenes from episode 7 are all Bromance I love it

The Acting of the second male lead isn't that perfect to be honest
the male lead is more professional than him and It shows but it suits sometimes the second male lead's character

The male lead is plagued with a weird disease or a curse and really doesn't care much about the people who love him so much aka his best friends
his character is smart but not gentle and sometimes he actually let his best friend get scared or hurt easily
I don't like that about him
but there is some moments that shows he also cares about his goofy dumb best friend

The second male lead is so funny and Cherish his best friend way too much ,, he does everything in his power to save his best friend despite the fact that he's a coward most of the time and not that smart yet every single episode he's there for his buddy
