One important part from the script is of the terrace scene where ML is asked to choose one out of the two FLs to save, (it was said that both were pregnant then so I wonder how are they going to show it now) , death of song family is another one and some tortuous end of FL. (Dismemberment I suppose)

Emperor's redemption arc was the weakest for me so far. It just felt so... incomplete. He was so abusive before and hated him to the core and now he is a caring father all of a sudden. But the brothers scene was heartfelt for sure and the conversation between Rui and his bodyguard was really heartwarming.

FL is shown as a pretty lazy actress in the drama so you can guess how much character study she did for her role. She just skimmed the main scenes. That is why she has her biased views and the fact that she had her script so there is no way she got to read other characters' arc. That is why she only thinks from Song Yimeng's perspective. Another reason is the fact that no matter what she did the script is still following the same pattern so she knows how this is going to end and hence her selfish behaviour is sort of justified if one knows there is going to be a bloodbath.

I also think the emperor had something else in his sick mind. Probably wants to forge him into a strong heartless ruler by pretending to be such a despicable father. Nothing justifies it but that is also a probability. There is no way he sees Rui as a capable ruler...he just likes him more. But who knows maybe he is a psycho afterall or probably framed his own son for killing his other empress.

I think some of the scenes (one of them you just mentioned) were quite famous scenes from other dramas. Like choosing to save one out of the two fls is from 'till the end of the moon', that lantern fire scene is probably from 'love like the galaxy'. There was also mention of scene of her being reborn probably insinuating 'umtamed'. They are very popular scenes that the script writer used in his story. That makes it funnier.

Linger is the daughter of one of the disciples of ML. She forged swords/weapons for him and kinda helped her father to reach the disciple level because of her skills.

In my opinion, simply because she looks like his previous lover and probably he thought she was pretending to be some one else or perhaps she lost her memories. You can see in the next episodes how he keep reminding her of the past.

I apologise for taking this long to reply to your question (you might have already finished the show by now) but without really giving any spoiler I can say that in the first few episodes they showed the whole accident fiasco and how Phat's wish (or strong desire) for revenge led to all the body swap thing. Both brother's soul swapped bodies. Unfortunately, Phat's body was cremated and with that Thee's soul also left the world. So it was just Phat's soul in Thee's body and that is how it ended without any swap back and all.

I think by far this is her best role. All her cute antics suits this role pretty well. You should give it a try whenever you get some free time. It is hilarious.

Hua jai sila with same ML and kluen cheewit with same FL are my fav. You will be hooked from the get go.

Yes it is good but the long ballad is inclined more towards romance but here it is not the main theme.
My personal favs (like the long ballad) are love like the galaxy, my journey to you, bloody romance, nirvana in fire and double.

I am no one to comment on a country's law...but it is a drama and they would write anything in the script to make it interesting. Let's hope the show would end on a positive note with a good message. Jin Hyuk is the main lead as far as I know and SML will not become main lead for sure.

I agree with you about that tear face thing. I also felt she was crying way too much especially when she wanted to hide her identity. But the instant romance part- I think we have to understand the time gap first. Its been a while since she came back and had her exams she prepared for long. Then went back to maternal house, all the travel won't happen in few days. The drama is not really good at showing time gap properly but it was left to viewers to assume that it happened. Moreover I won't call it Instant as there were hardly any scene with the main couple where they were having romantic moments before rain scene. They were bickering or out smarting each other. They had chemistry though and I think the constant support and care and his resourceful were the things that attracted her to him. But it is my take on the drama as it felt more slow burn type of chemistry to me that rushed one.

I am still hoping that an alien invasion happens and they kidnap that mother from the plant and she would go on a very long Interstellar journey.

It is ep12 and she is still the same no change at all. Looks like writer is obsessed with that mother character. She has more screen time than ML lol.

I have no idea about d*ug part but she used to love tattoos a lot but she had to remove it as it does go well with typical Kdrama actress/idol image. She is really bold in her actions though and very open about things that you won't hear idols talking about.

Ikr...it was an old drama that they made before his 'cancellation thing' and ' China vs. Korea thing'. But they are finally releasing it.🥺🥲

Ikr...she looks extremely thin in this drama. I loved it when she was little chubby. ( I have no idea if she had any health issues or just another korean industry thing to look extremely thin. She is really looking different for some reasons.

Ikr It's really hard to watch a drama with so much nonsense despite having a better storyline in the original novel. They should not name it after the novel and make it their own new drama if that's what they really want.
