Not just LAR but I feel it way too similar to Ashes of love as well. Well yes same actors as well side actors from Love and redemption keep on reminding me of it. But thats not all the rebirth arc as well. Yangzi is pretty much same as she was in ashes of love. Cold yet playful ml is same as ashes of love. But thats pretty much all xinxia drama I guess. Same subject matters are used in same genre. Not that I am complaining. But when we see two dramas with similar storyline obviously we will end up comparing the two especially if they became really popular. I personally felt little bored watching IS's early episodes. I haven't finished it so can't say more for now. I didn't felt this much bored in LAR tbh. I read all the comments in each episodes and believe me there are many who feel the same way.

LLTG was the only show especially historical one where I never felt bored one bit. The show is obviously one of the best shows of this year. Whether its the story or acting or editing or music everything is amazing about that show. You should just give it a go...I personally find it more hilarious and an emotional rollercoaster than Alchemy of souls. I haven't completed IS but it kinda reminds me of Love and redemption a lot. But LLTG is definitely worth watching. Just watch it you won't regret for sure😊

Nope and there is almost zero Romance. The main focus is society's weird norms and psychological problems. Magic is main focus in webtoon. I highly recommend it!
Can't say about Drama because as it happened in True Beauty ( another webtoon adapted into drama) they changed that
story a lot.

Omg!!! It was one of my first webtoons which opened a new world for me? I cant believe its going to be adapted into a drama and Wookie on top of that?. Can't wait anymore!!!!!!!

Well i don't agree. Though he/she was pretty harsh and direct...what he/she said was not wrong at all. Thats the reality of this society. But its not like only Asian countries are like that...It is same all over the world.
