I think this is coz of Ep. 14 where it was 2nd CP focused episode. Idek coz I don't see any problem with it.
The only ones making ML a fool is the fans obsessing about this. A lot of us want an actual story and not just fillers to satisfy fandoms.

It sucks that the Master drugged ZLY, but the drug only took effect once ZLY had to use all of his strength to be able to win. For me, ZLY won since there was foul play, but ZCL was tough enough that ZLY had to use all of his strength in the first place. Anyway, that was great fight and I wish the master hadn't drugged ZLY.

That is not a fair fight! Now ZCL needs his qi back from FBB.
Wasn't the drug only supposed to take effect when ZLY mobilized all his qi? The master said "the dose I gave you will only take effect when you exert all of your strength." I don't think ZCL won, but until the moment at the end when ZLY used all of his qi to take out ZCL, it was fair. If ZCL hadn't been a tough opponent to start with, ZLY wouldn't have needed to use all his strength.
