I also had higher expectations for GSJ since he's supposed to be the older most capable one, but he engages GZY in the smallest of provocations. The Gongs are doomed if they keep being Mr. Childish and Mr. Petty.

People are too biased in favor of GSJ. It's okay that he's not perfect. 🤣 None of them are which is great.

I was not referring to the bastard parts. It's obvious it could not have been GSJ as GSJ was a whole grown child when GZY was still in the womb.

The difference is that both GSJ and GZY were both in the room with Lady Wuji when she woke up as were two other people. There was also what seemed like a very short moment of understanding between them as both GSJ and GZY wanted to know what happened. GZY could have not pressed Lady Wuji for answers at that moment and waited till GSJ left, but he did. However, GSJ was alone with SGQ. But yes, ideally it should be a third party who does the interrogations, but who? It seems like the Gong nest is completely infected.

They are both biased against each other. Plus, from what we have seen GSJ had belittled and patronized GZY for years. So, I can understand why GZY would take the chance to do it when he can. I can see both sides since I'm not biased towards either of them and I enjoy both characters equally. However, GSJ is supposed to be the older, more mature, rational, and intelligent one so to me it looks like he is being impulsive by letting GZY get to him every single time.

Jajaja, I was like "a rash proves it?". And agree, I am hoping it's all an act since what we have seen so far of his character development does not leave room for him to blindly start liking someone, especially in the midst of a family crisis. If he really is falling so soon, that is disappointing.

I wouldn't say everyone. I love all the characters and they all have their flaws and virtues.

I was rolling my eyes too. I had to stop the episode and post comments at the "interrogation" part. I also thought he should not be interrogating SGQ alone. And I agree, he shouldn't be in the investigation at all. His judgement is clouding when it comes to her.

I am still hoping it's just an act because what kind of reasoning is that? However, he has shown the "fool in love" look even when no one is watching.

I'm halfway the episode and

1. GSJ was being petty at the beginning of the episode. There was what seems like yet another attack on the family and he wants to take the energy to talk about GZY slipping out.

2. Thank the drama gods for weapon forging scene.

3. GSJ's question echoed what I had been wondering since SGQ started her little sob story, "WHat the hell does it have to do with what is happening now?" Glad she answered that because I could not let it go. lol

4. I have not finished watching the scene, but I think GSJ should not be alone interrogating SGQ.
