Another K-drama I'm watching also had the dead fish kiss. If they can't make it look good, for whatever reason, then they shouldn't do it all. It's supposed to be the climax of their emotions and my excitement kind of dies when they do that type of kiss.

I'd rather have a good hug than those kisses to be honest.

It's strange how it feels like I'm watching two different productions. It's like the periods have different crews. Do they?

Silla period is amazing and I have little to complain about. Then, in comes present day Seoul and I just want to throw it in the trash, burn it, and forget it's part of the show. How can they have such excellent chemistry in Silla and in present day, I get nothing. They even forgot how to act.

I was confused when I started ep. 11 because I had no idea what was happening. I realized that I never actually finished ep. 10 because I kept falling asleep. 😅 The struggle is real.

I'm up to episode 8 and so far I am enjoying the show. I like how she is dealing with her mother-in-law. You can see who the favorite children are and her late husband was not one of them.
