Who said I was "accepting" the scenes from secret relationships?! those scenes weren't added to the story for people to "accept"! Those were scenes of violant and disturbing nature they were done to expose the true nature of both characters "abusers". DaOn wasn't interested in neither SuHyeon nor JaeMin after they both attacked him and tried to force themselves on him on separate occasions!
It is not ok for anyone to forcibly grope the other person under the guise of "having feelings" for them!? whether both characters end up together or not is irrelevant when the approach is wrong.
In TharnType, Tharn literally fondled Type while he was passed out drunk! that's also sexual assault! NOT OKAY
In Semantic Error JaeYoung explicitly told SangWoo "I'm going to kiss you in 1 minute if you want to run away do it now" To which SangWoo responded by grabbing his face and kissing him immediately, he didn't want to wait 1 minute! Both boys consented to the kiss. Very beautiful and shouldn't be compared to what happened in TharnType.
I do not have double standards when it comes to forced intimacy. I immediately call out problematic sexual behaviour when I see it on screen. Also, I'm an adult I can tell the difference between seducing someone into a kiss they didn't expect and forcing them into it.

I never applied that concept to this series. that's why I specifically said : In real life people don't grab each other for a kiss without permission. In this series, what bothered me wasn't the kissing, we see a lot of that in every series not just BLs. What bothered me was the non consensual touching and how uncomfortable JunXi was afterwards.
The scenes you've just described from secret relationships were made for shock value and not to be romanticised. The director showed SuHyeon forcibly kissing DaOn to portray his violent and abusive nature. Same with JaeMin later on to expose his true obsessive and psychopathic personality to DaOn who was completely oblivious. One the other hand, Tuo and JunXi are meant to become lovers in this series, the bathroom stall scene was indeed romanticised when it shouldn't. Those two series can't be compared to each other in the scenes you've just described.
Episode 3 seemed fine by me I didn't see anything that made me uncomfortable.
P.s. I would never take half a star out ot my rating for Secret relationships. The series was a masterpiece and the story was flawless. Those scenes of disturbing nature served their purpose correctly in the series and matched the flow of events.

Real life is completely different than what you see in a BL drama. in real life you Do NOT grab someone and kiss them without asking permission! that's considered harassment. people reach that level of intimacy when they're familiar enough with one another.
As for this drama Tuo dragged JunXi into a bathroom stall and started touching him without his consent! it was a bit jarring to watch if I'm being honest!

Forgive me for saying, it doesn't matter if Wei's mum told him to keep her illness a secret. CC should definitely prioritise that matter. Because right now Wei is missing out on spending precious time with his mum on her final days without knowing.

but still it's not about how he feels on the inside that matters, it's what he's projecting outwardly. Wei and CC's relationship is still new and still growing. it's very crucial how CC behaves when his ex appears out of nowhere wanting to reak havoc. lying to your boyfriend and keeping secrets is not the right way to handle the situation.

I would skip Cutie Pie and the next prince. Knock out is a must watch 😊

Chi Cheng is not behaving like someone who wants to protect his relationship with his boyfriend. He's acting like someone who's lost, confused and unsure of his feelings! The return of your ex shouldn't affect you that much if you've truly moved on. Yet somehow he managed to convince Wei that something is going on between them two 😒

See I don't have a problem with morally grey or flawed characters in series. it is a drama after all and it's expected. However, personally, I can't stand the a*hole boyfriend we see in BLs. Someone like Ming from My stand in or Type from Tharntype. Such characters show little to no improvement in the story. I hope WenLang surprises me with his redemption arc

Thanks hun! even if they ban the series it would still come back one day! they can't fight the entire planet. Look at Justice in the Dark. it's true that they butchered the show but it still got released eventually

It's 2025 and while I understand that we're still dealing with something as malignant as homophobia, I can never understand the type of censorship that bans the portrayal of same sex relationships in FICTION!
Does the Chinese government also ban same sex relationships in real life? is it a crime to be gay in China? If anyone here from China, can you please enlighten me?! Because if that's the case then maybe I can understand why the government is trying to erase the entire genre but if not then what's the f*ckin point?!
The LGBTQ community still exists! they might be a minority but they still exist! On the other hand, us, the audience, BL fans and Danmei readers are a majority. We're still here and no censorship can silence us!
