And while I'm watching the series I don't see two men falling in love, I see a spoiled princess and a royal guard! You don't have to go too far to compare anyway! Did you not see Ramil and Paytai?! You don't have to agree with me. No one has to. That's my impression of the show and no one needs to agree with it. Everyone is more than welcomed to disagree and argue that's what the discussion board is here for. However, picking certain vocabulary in the comment and interpreting them into something as toxic and malignant as "misogyny" is wrong and turns the discussion board into a mine field!

you have to watch Season 1 if you're planning to watch this one. It's a continuation of the story. But if you want my advice watch Season 1 and give this one a skip... It's an absolute mess

Princess Ava is strong, competitive and beautiful. She's an absolute diva and I thought Khanin would be too. However, his character took a different path after arriving to Emmaly, in which he was behaving like a spoiled princess chasing his royal guard instead of proving himself as the next prince. This has nothing to do with the depiction of feminine men in BL world or any other type of art.

Of course Khanin gave me the impression that he's a diva and I liked that at the beginning! I was getting ready to follow the story and see where it'll take me but all of the sudden he turned into a school girl in fancy dresses, literally, who sees nothing but Charan and does nothing but chase him around! Charan, mind you, sounded a bit irritated at first. and it's not like we got the chance to see how their relationship develop into a romance just like you described. Personally I can't make any references to the novel because I haven't read it and I'm not planning to. I'm only expressing my opinion about the show and why I'm disappointed after that long wait.
