Yi Chen NEVER deserved to be locked up, r@ped and tortured like that! no one does!
Lu Feng is an absolute monster!
And you know what pisses me off even more! Lu Feng keeps sniffing around Yi Chen like a dog, not even giving him any space to heal from the trauma he'd put him through!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, this type of stories doesn't belong in mainstream media, it should remain in books and novels where you can let your imagination run wild! And I'm sure the original novel is much worse that this series.
Also please don't compare this to watching horror movies! at least there the villain is a villain and no one is rooting for them!
The only thing Lu Feng deserves here is prison time!

looking back on last week's episodes I think Yi Chen could've handled the situation much better with the least amount of casualties. If you know your boyfriend has a violent temper you shouldn't be picking fights to make an excuse for a break up!
on the other hand Lu Feng doesn't know when to shut up and leave! he'd seen the mum having a complete melt down when she caught them two making out! in her house 🤭, why add fuel to the fire by outing the younger brother too! If I didn't know any better I'd say he's purposefully tryna give her a heart attack 😂
Anyway, this is no laughing matter of course. I wonder if she'd ever regretted what she'd done to Yi Chen before she died 🤔.
I know Yi Chen didn't fight for their love as much as Lu Feng did. but y'all have to remember Yi Chen's mother manipulated him by exploiting her illness to split him up from his love and force him to marry someone else to please her! Lu Feng's father, however, resorted to violence from the beginning and when that didn't work he tried blackmail by threatening to disown him and that all made Lu Feng ten times more defiant.

I don't think her being homophobic was anything unusual for that type of society. I'm more pissed off at her for how she was blaming Yi Chen for his brother also being gay! As if that wasn't enough she was ready to turn a blind eye to the younger brother's relationship but Yi Chen HAS to leave Lu Feng and get married to satisfy her!
If I'm being honest, to me, biased parents are much worse than homophobic ones.
