There's a special place in hell for people like Scent and his greedy uncle 😒 Also, Ray is no Diva! he's a BITCH ... I mean there's a jealous ex and then there's a homicidal ex who desperately needs therapy. And why on Earth that pool was so deep?!
I don’t think anyone is trying to justify Lu Feng’s actions. it’s clear as day what he has done. The thing…
I was disturbed by some of the comments I've seen on here after episode 4 tbh although some of them have been deleted not sure by who. With that been said I'm not sure if Lu Feng is the right person for Yi Chen but I do acknowledge that's very early to judge. This could go either way tbh

I actually do agree with part of what you’re saying. I understand that dark romance explores toxic obsessive and morally messy relationships and I never said people who enjoy it support SA in real life. Fiction and reality are definitely not the same thing. My issue is more about how certain scenes are framed and how they affect viewers emotionally. People are still allowed to feel uncomfortable or criticise a scene even if it fits the genre. Saying “it’s dark romance” explains why the content exists but it doesn’t automatically stop people from questioning or reacting to it emotionally. So I think both things can be true at the same time as in dark romance can explore disturbing themes in fiction and viewers can still feel that certain moments crossed a line for them personally.

Dark romance can explore toxic obsessive or disturbing relationships but that doesn't mean viewers have to romanticise assault or be comfortable watching it. Using the term "dark romance " often refers to a story that is intentionally unhealthy where the characters are morally flawed and the relationship is meant to be intense dangerous or psychologically messy. but there's a huge difference between depicting harmful behaviour and glorifying it! personally, I think SA should NEVER be framed romantically
s*x without consent is r*pe. it's a fact. In this story did you think Lu Feng forced himself on Yi Cheng out of desire?! absolutely not! he did it to assert dominance over him! he's gotten so crazy with jealousy that he decided to punish his love. it wasn't about s*x it was about power and that's the definition of r*pe.
WTF! For the life of me, how can I continue watching after this?! while I do enjoy some toxic storyline here and there, I draw the line when it comes to r*pe!! 🤦🏻♀️ Am I missing something in the Chinese writing style?! since when did forced sex become a "normal" part of a relationship?! 🤯 well I suppose there's no Omegaverse here for y'all to justify what we've just witnessed! I need a hot cuppa and a warm blanket ... 😢
have you read Jinx?! this storyline is exactly the same down to a T. the only difference is the ML needed money to pay for his grandma instead of his brother
Of course he wouldn't!! Hua Yong ONLY used targeted pheromones to manipulate Shao You making him lose control and pass out in public, SA'd him, altered his biology, got him pregnant without prior warning then refused to end the pregnancy despite the doctor's warnings that it might be a danger to his life... in literature we call this "serious harm-based events" I don't really know what's about to happen in Double Helix nor do I want any spoilers but if things took a direction that proves to be more than I can handle I'll definitely stop watching.
I don't know which one is worse tbh, watching those two being forced to separate or knowing that these issues had indeed happened in real life and continue to happen to this day 😢
