Just completed this and wow,what a saeguk!The show took on another form entirely in its second half and has one of the best conclusions in any saeguk drama.
Yoon Gyun Sang and Kim Ji Suk are very well cast in their roles .Even supporting characters stand out.

Well directed,written ,cast and performed. soundtrack is one of the best Kdrama OSTs of recent times.Also,one of the finest examples of cinematography in Kdramas.

A special mention to the writer who has now written 2 of my fave saeguks-This one and The King's daughter Soo Baek Hyang.

A movie that kept me hooked from the start to the finish..It is a blast watching So Ji Sub (my first time seeing him) and Kanf Ji Hwan playing people in opposite worldd

I agree and everyone who saw this went in knowing what to expect-just that I thought the cast and crew would make it happier due to their previous shows-Personal opinion but am not a fan of sad endings.But I guess many like them as Kdramas are increasingly incorporating sad endings nowadays (Hwayugi ,Mr Sunshine and now this .)

Yes and it became too dark in the end..

So a sad ending then.. Had hoped they could make it a happy one...

Really hope that happens.MBC has not had a hit like this recently and this was competing with very strong shows..

Great comment..My guess is that this writer doesnt like to spend a lot of time on Angst.Saw it in Shopping King louie and saw this here too.

Am seeing many comments criticizing the "silly"plot.For people on the fence about it due to this,would recommend to see a couple of episodes and give it a go..Personally,found it quite an interesting take on spy dramas - an improvement could have been higher number of action set pieces but they did well with their action scenes..Importantly,the show has a cute and fun side not many other shows have been able to capture this year -the KIds,KIS group,Babysitter who is a spy,Bumbling spies-I still find it funny that King's Bag was set up to be a sham bag store and the trouble the NIS spies got into when the female lead turned it into an actual high selling store ..Is it silly-yes -but then so is every single comedy.This is NOT a show for you if you want realism ,angst and gritty scenes (Phantom/Ghost,King2Hearts etc are a much better option)

There is no chance I buy the fairy (Moon Chae Won) ending up with anyone else other than Yoon Hyun Min (the other lead is more suited to the daughter).I think the drama ending will be different than the webtoon one

I have actually found Uee quite good in all the dramas I have seen-Ojakkgyo Brothers,Marriage Contract (10/10 show) and My Husband Oh Jak Doo.She is very good in this ,as well

The drama keeps getting better..Really liked the main couple scenes in recent episodes and the grandmom keeps bringing the house down with her requests for getting her sister Myeong Hee...

Surprisingly good..I am a fan of both the actors earlier dramas but in this show Chun Jung Myung is superb..Am upto ep 2 so far and the plot is quite interesting .Laughed out loud in the misunderstanding scene in Ep 1.Looks like a good show going forward.
