Utterly charming.One of the best robot /android movies with a humanist touch.Ayase Haruka was beautiful in this and the ending was wow!!!

I picked this up only because I came to know this was being remade in Korea with Seo In Gook as the male lead.

The synopsis was intriguing and the show is dark yet addicting.I keep myself stopping from completing the show for obvious reasons.

The music -Fox bag tune was on loop for me for days-its so good.

I know ..I started this Many times and stopped.

I was a PSH fan but in this show he basically overshadowed everyone else.!I had avoided the show as it thought it would be boring but it is the opposite.

Brilliant performance and one of the most complex stories presented in a nuanced manner

And I love the instrumental themes and songs ..

You're missing out on an amazing show!!

I personally feel Lee Jong Suk got shortchanged here as a lot of good scenes went to Jung hae In here.JHI resembled LJS of I can hear your voice a lot here for no reason.In the end,it was 3 guys the main girl was being chased by..(including Lee Sang Yeob)

This was the only writing error as per me in this otherwise fantastic show which had superb story,direction,music,visuals and performances.

I would never have seen most of the shows I have if I went by synopsis alone.Generally go by reviews/comments or in this case i went by the lead pair (they are awesome in My daughter Seo Yeong) Glad you didn't drop the show looking at the synopsis.

Mostly i have seen Kimura Takuya starring shows-
BG :Personal Bodyguard, One hundred Million stars falling from the sky(have seen 50% so far)

I would have agreed with you if it was someone who could express emotions normally.Si Mok couldn't and it would take something very tough to get him emotional,hence the reasoning...

Difficult to watch.Explores many difficult themes and the cast was just perfect for this show

Very emotional at times.Seo in Gook gives one of his strongest performances in this.

It remains in my watch list forever .I love the OST and songs..Just can't bring myself to watch It due to the themes behind it.

I think we both saw different dramas .This is the only crime procedural Korean drama I have been able to complete and the female and male lead were Big reasons for that..I agree there were some weird choices made but then how will you have a story otherwise..
This was a ratings blockbuster in Korea when it aired and it was easy to see why.

Also i feel you'll like H.i.T if you like Go Hyun Jung who is the female lead .She played the best female cop I have seen in kdramaland

Glad you liked VP. It was a very pleasant surprise for me as I don't like Horror/vampire shows. Tried watching Vp2 but couldnt continue beyond a few episodes as i felt the quality came down (the PD change must have been the reason)

Perfect blend of gender bender,kpop industry tropes.Awesome casting for all the A.N.J.E.L.L members .

I ended up watching the Taiwanese version first (which is great!) but the Korean version is the real deal.

Same here. The almost fated connection they had was a rare one unlike many noona romances where characters were just past acquaintances (Something in the rain,What's up fox)

This,in my opinion,set the show apart..

I too dislike love triangles and feel many shows use this trope needlessly (Heirs -the worst) and prefer love squares (DOTS,Goblin) .Still the reality of kdramaland is that 90% of these will have it in some form or the other

While i don't really watch korean procedural shows that much you can try
1. Vampire prosecutor (a good procedural in spite of the name)
2. H.I.T (an older series but quite good)
