I was not planning on watching this but kept getting drawn to it due to the ost "Auditory Hallucination" and it's MV running on YouTube. Its a superb tune ,but I digress.
This is at first,a brilliantly written show that knew what it wanted to do from the first time itself. The story ,in spite of having a lot of complexity, was easy to follow.
Characters in this were just awesome.Ji sung just out-acts everyone else in this show. Also, really liked Hwang Jung Eum(she probably makes the best pair with Ji Sung-i also liked secret) and Park Seo joon in their roles a lot.
Am amazed that a subject so dark was dealt so well by the makers-i found it difficult to skip any scene at all.
Brilliantly made and executed. It /Ji Sung deserves all the awards
I have only watched two episodes but I'm so in love with this drama. I just finished Healer and I needed to watch…
She is very good in City Hunter as well-am suggesting it as you have seen Healer and liked it and City Hunter would be the real inspiration behind Healer.
seeing how many tortured souls in the comment section, i'm happy that i did not start watching this drama yet…
Would suggest you don't.. There is a genuine joy in this show as you see it unfolding. You can do as I do probably .Watch the show in 30 -40 mins timeframe for one sitting
I keep meaning to watch this show as I've really liked all the other works by the writer (KMHM,Chicago Typewriter and Capital scandal) but somehow don't get to start it.
The theme music is superb and is a great melody and has been on my playlist for quite some time
Just done with it after multiple drops and wow,the drama recovered big time in the second half.
As far as noble idiocy goes,Kang Ma ru takes the top spot with his actions.I was surprised that I liked a show with such a lead character.Think the only reason was SJK playing him.
This is a masterclass in makjang/melodrama genre and still felt fresh mainly because the actors were so good. The plot takes these characters on a wild ride which I won't like to spoil.
The show really picks up and the lat 3-4 eps are just superb with excellent acting.I also liked the ending a lot..
I really like the revenge/melodrama genre and would highly recommend this show
They had a real emotional comnection in my opinion and I didn't leave the final ship even for one moment.Eun Bi…
I get where you are coming from and am myself not a fan of love triangles generally.
However, here the main guy was set up to be Han Yi Yan.if you see,he started liking her before the elder sister came back -after struggling with knowing the truth he texts her that he now knows what to call her -Eun bi-finally acknowledging her as someone different than her sister and potentially allowing himself to open up to her. Also,I think many people have missed the fact that Eun Bi had thought her sister was dead in the Time she fell for Han Yi Yan.By the time she reappeared she was already in love
Also, the second lead was a classic second lead Who was too helpful that he was never going to get the girl (a similar role comes to my mind was Lee Jun Ki in My Girl-one of my fave dramas in spite of the triangle)
I would love it, but the love choice seems out of the blue to be quite honest. Why build relationship all the…
They had a real emotional comnection in my opinion and I didn't leave the final ship even for one moment.Eun Bi liked Han Yi An and that was obvious from the beginning.
I think the writer strung along people on the second ship(for ratings) and finally ended the way they wanted to
I really hope shows like this get preproduced rather than shot live to ensure the first lead is not made a caricature for the fans of the second lead. This also happened ,quite horribly,in Cheese in the trap a show that just bailed on its first lead and came Back to him but the damage was done by then.
The elevators scenes in Ep 5 reminded me of that show a lot..
