I think having it on cable over public broadcast really helps the show go darker than the typical public broadcast…
I liked all fight scenes ..very well done..but it does have a high fear factor..I.Dont watch horror dramas at all.Or if i see them, drop them in middle. This might end up being the first horror drama i actually complete

I guess so too...But the show started in very light territory with lots of comedy...So far, only gumiho shows i had seen were My GF is a gumiho and Gu family book...This one is much more dark and adult..
I was curious why this show was not on a normal terretrial netowork like KBS/Sbs as these fantasy dramas would work there and ratings couldve been much higher. By Ep 3,i sort of understood..Lots of gore and even an instance of ....Cannibalism...Only cable networks could have allowed it..
Just started this and really liked Ep 1..Events move quickly, fast paced action, beautifully choreographed fights and a superbly cast Lee Dong wook and Kim Bum. Jo Boah holds her own too. The tone of this is pretty light hearted so far..May become more melodramatic later but good fun.. Best fantasy drama since Angels Last Misssion .
Respectfully disagree that she is soft for the role.U get that feeling once you see the feminine face but her…
Nice to hear this..May try seeing it now..But i loved the OST though..And the one of its PDs has made many of my faves like Shining Inheritance,City Hunter,Princess Prosector,Doctor Stranger,Legend of Blue Sea,The Masters Sun..
This show was surprisingly good..Binged pretty fast in around 2 days...Solid start, started.dragging a bit in middle but the final episode is one of the best Kdrama finales ever...Ticking almost all boxes. Never thought a cooking themed show can be a nail biting thriller but trust Kdrama writers and PDs to deliver.. Biggest plus is the cast and the easy flowing story..Kim Rae won impresses and so do the other actors. Romance is quite understated throughout and it was fine as they focused on the main plot.
thanks for the replies! I'm insterested with the cast but the story seems boring :/ I wasn't also that impressed…
I started it with a lot of hesitation due to poor comments but am a fan of Joo Won and started bcos of that Once i started it ,could not stop..Loved the mix of action thrills, emotions and mystery and superb acting .Would recommend watching 1-2 eps and then deciding ..
You should mark your comment w/the spoiler box checked (tap the arrow beside the heart and hit edit then beside…
The reason i am not marking my comment as spoiler is bcos there are people on MDL trashing this show with a lot of half truths and not marking them as spoilers..many such comments Someone who wishes to watch can at least get a balanced view this way. On your view on the end part, I see things could be better explained ..Seemed a lot of stuff is open for interpretation..I feel this show needed at least 1-2 more eps to wrap things up better (am not sure what role pandemic played in their final outcome )
Yes if this drama had something good it was the acting! I could feel Tae Yi's fear when Jin Gyum answered his…
Scary Joo Won is so creepy...Truly good acting skills..Am not a particular fan of Horror dramas but i remember watching The Ghost detective and all scenes of Lee Ji Ah were so scary,i dropped the show by around 7 eps..Other popular horror dramas ive heard abt are The Guest,Priest Strangers from Hell..
To give us the Hottest K-drama Daddy ever!! But seriously, ikr?? What gives??
While i agree Kwak Si yang is awesome in this , are you guys leaving out Choi Jin Hyuk ..He is the gold standard of hot Kdrama daddy for both Tunnel and Gu family book as per me.Kwak Si Yang comes pretty close tho.
Would like to mention that there is NO romance between Mom and son..Tae yi is a diff character entirely and only…
Tae Yi is not his mom and anyone whose life is saved so many time by a guy can fall in love with him. On why he tried to save his mom so many times in other dimensions too,you need to understand that very few people really mattered to him and he was attached to his mom the most and his greatest regret in life had been that he could not save her from getting killed..Any chance he could get to save her,he would take-dimensions be damned..The character had a pretty focussed mind on saving his mom which can explain why he acted the way he did

Other dramas of his are also very good
