Just saw Ep 6 and have to compliment the writers-2 revelations (Ep 5 that So Ah didn't call the cops on Sae Ro Yi and Ep 6 that Sae Ro Yi is not as destitute that he looks ) were strong writing and at least caught me unaware.
I am happy that they didn't dispose of So Ah with what happened earlier.Sae Ro Yi clearly loved/loves her and in a better world (where So Ah was not to selfish) they would be inseparable. So Ah needs to be redeemed and it will happen. Sad part is by then Sae Ro Yi might fall in love with Yi Seo.This is the kind of love triangle I have wanted (you can root for both parties ) but never get. I still feel that Sae Ro Yi and Yi Seo are the final ship but the show will take its sweet time getting there.Till then,be ready for some corporate warfare and romantic entanglements The show has multiple genres and could have deviated but the good news is they are all working fine. The OST really is superb here. Am expecting fireworks on Ep 7
This is by far my fave k-series now! Park Seo Joon is of course a favorite but hands down to Kim Da Mi. This is…
I actually love these kind of underdog shows which used to brim with positivity-This was the hallmark of Kdrama classics like King of Baking Shining Inheritance ,Baby Faced Beauty.Recent shows aimed at youth mostly look at slice of life vibes which have a niche audience. This show is hence special as it mixes both old school and new school tropes well.
Soo Ah wasn't the one who called the cops, But I still don't like her.
Yes,she made a wrong choice by taking help of the Chairman but the revelation still reduces the meanness associated with her. I feel mostly sad for her. She now knows she loves the male lead but has mostly screwed up what was her own love story
Ep 5 was um...interesting with a surprising revelation and So Ah may not actually deserve the hate she got so far. There is some life in the love triangle after all.Yi Seo continued to be spunky and is basically doing all that So Ah should have done for Saeori. Her scene at the end to her theme (dont know the OST but it sure is catchy !) was pure surprise ! I love shows where I root for both female leads ,it happens rarely but the shows are better for it.Looks like things will be getting serious in Ep 6. I broke my rule of binge watching for this show and am not regretting at all at this time.
This is literally my current fave show. PSJ keeps delivering sincerity in spades and Kim Da Mi ,who I'm seeing for the first time,is a revelation as a spunky lead.Nara, very beautiful, has a solid role as well. The scenes when the three of them are together are pure awesomeness ! Also a solid support cast.Great OST again and "Start " is my go to song now.
Resisted watching for a long time and finally gave in.And am glad I did! Park Seo Joon brings such sincerity to this character-It is hard not to like him and cheer him on.The OST Esp. Start is superb !
What about My Name Is Kim San Soon, Marriage Not Dating or Strong Woman Do Bong Soon? I thought all three of these…
True.I think I see strong female characters in almost every second Kdrama.Even the passive girls have their strong moments of strength at crucial times.
Rewatching this on Netflix and trust me,it is the best place to see it.The production quality is exquisite and the show being preproduced is so beautiful to look at. JCW just needs to make Healer 2!
I've done both-Whisper,WWSK,My Secret Terius,INAR,Jugglers, were some shows I watched as they aired .However,I find I like a story completed mostly as Korean drams writers like keeping viewers on tenterhooks and even endings dont normally pan out very well many times.
