I am done with 6 eps now and have mixed feelings about this.It started well but things seem a lot in favor of villains now. I was expecting Yong Pal level spunk and retribution from the female lead but I guess we can't see that as villains are family members Might continue to see where this goes in the next few Eps. Lee Jang Woo is a big reason I continue watching (his hero seems to have the best reasons to win)
I love a good family drama and I love a good lead OTP.This one gives both and also gives you one of the strongest and deep brother relationships in Kdramas (Lee Sang Woo and Dong Ha have great chemistry !) It does drag a bit towards the end but a very good watch if you like family dramas.
Just done with Ep 4 and wow ! Cha Dal Geun is one of my fave characters now-he does not bother who or what is in front of him and faces things right on -maybe as he thinks he has nothing to lose anymore. It was good Vagabond is pre produced - the action scenes are truly a joy to watch and the budget shows on screen. For a long time ,for me The K2,City Hunter ,Gaksital,Iljimae ,Bad Guys and DOTS/ Healer were the action gold standard for Kdramas -this show is delivering successively with superb action scenes every week and could soon overtake many in the list. Lee Seung Gi has put in some superb work here and it shows !
The OST "Foolish Love " by John Park is so soft and melodious and its guitar tunes are captivating.Really looking forward to what music comes on this show next
The mystery is quite good in this.For the second time in watching Kdramas (first time was Stranger/Forest of secrets ),I felt like this was a good mystery brought to screen.
The show is deceptive. On first look ,it seems to be a show where a ditzy high society girl turns into a hardworking prosecutor.It does happen but the show is much more than that Park Si Hoo plays a mysterious character whose motivations are not very clear at the beginning.The second half of the show is almost magical in terms of acting,delivery and overall story arc.I especially love the PD's work (City Hunter ,Brilliant Legacy etc) .
Finally completed all the eps it and it was a highly satisfying watch overall.The show utilised its leads superbly and the writer kept me hooked throughout with the mystery. Yeon Woo Jin played multiple shades here and showed his versatility superbly. Song Jae Rim impressed me in this and while his character could have been better handled ,he gave a very controlled performance - very well directed. Kim se Jung was consistently good and shines in some dramatic scenes. Kudos to the makers for trying something different in terms of a romance drama which remains mysterious till the end. Awesome OST songs esp.Stay with Me,I wanna hear your song,Cry and the BGM/Classical music was very well used One of the best Kdramas this year ..
Just heard the OST "Wake Me " by Nien and the MV for the drama and found it very good. Am not into horror dramas but this show (esp.Yen Woo Jin starring as the priest) looks intriguing
First half of the show is just superb and immensely rewatchable.The music just keeps growing on you..Joy is a superb singer and Peterpan OST is superb as well.!
Another KBS winner this year after Angel's last mission-Love ; While not at the level of ALM,it still had an interesting storyline and good lead performances. And the music is superb as well!
Just done and was left feeling so good at the end,time just flew by in this. This is by far the best Jdrama I have seen and makes me want to try more such shows. What a difference a teacher like Onizuka can make in their students lives..I was left in tears in many scenes-the show has its emotional core well in place. Sorimachi Takashi lives the title role and many of the other cast members were quite memorable too. Exceptional drama experience and highly recommended!
Just completed Ep 1 and this is a smartly made,well acted show.The women in the show (seok Hee and Director Han ) are the strongest characters here and Lee Jang Woo appears too good to be true.
Might continue to see where this goes in the next few Eps.
