Lovely show and am done with 2 eps.Very well written.A great take on student teacher shows and how even a delinquent person can impart life lessons to students that are highly valuable. Sorimachi Takashi is the real reason to watch this !
Absolute favorite.Showed that Korean films could look as lavish as their western counterparts and still have a strong emotional core.Became a Han Suk Kyu fan after this.

I only watch Korean Historical dramas and This would come up pretty high on the list,but it is quite a dark show -everyone has grey shades here. Other good historical dramas you can check are 1. Kings daughter Su Baek Hyang 2.Faith 3. Iljimae 4. Gaksital/Bridal Mask 5. Love in the moonlight 6. Scarlet Heart (bad ending though!) 7. Kim Soo Ro

The 2 eps went by in such quick fashion.The action scenes are superlatively staged and remind me of some of the best action movies.Lee seung gi has done great justice to his character.Suzy also appears to be well cast in her role. This show will put some serious ratings heat on the charts. This week seems to be the week of superb action thriller series premieres internationally .This one came on Netflix and Amazon has aired the complete season of "The Family Man" one of the best ever action spy thrillers from India
I dont normally like shows that end tragically.But this one ,somehow felt it could end that way only and actually showed the self sacrificial nature of deep love ,which I dont see in many recent dramas. If you plan to see this ,be prepared to shed a lot of tears at the end and get your heart broken .But it is a journey worth taking-Yoon Shi Yoon and Kim Sae Ron are a pair you root for till the end
This Lee swung gi /Suzy drama has the potential for highest ratings this year. Hope they do it well this time and dont mess it up like in case of Hwayugi.
Keeping it on hold post ep 3 .Things move very slow here.It appears all the troublemakers have a sad history and they need to be forgiven and nice people need to keep bearing the brunt.Had a lot of potential with a super cast and terrific OST. School 2015 and 2017 are definitely better than this .
As an aside ,I recently started "Supernatural" an American TV series and that one has taken up my interest Maybe you need a change of shows-maybe you dont need TV in your life anymore.
I think you raise good questions-Apart from recent Kdrama themes (School,Fantasy,slice of life ) instead of intense romance dramas earlier ,I believe it is also to do with actors we like going into military service -I know it is a factor for me-Kim Soo Hyun,Ji Chang Wook,Lee Min Ho,Joo Won etc. Have gone and are coming back with newer dramas this /next year..Hopefully ,we all will see better drama days. But, it is not so gloomy as far as other dramas are concerned as there are many new actors/returning actors who gave good dramas You mentioned Angel's last mission -a show I absolutely love - but there have also been other solid dramas across varying genres .I would prefer a Kdrama over a CDrama anyday esp.due to the expressive active of Korean actors.Some of my fave Kdramas of recent times are 1. Stranger/Forest of secrets 2. While you were sleeping 3. Thirty but seventeen 4. Doctor Prisoner 5. My Fellow Citizens 6. My father is strange 7. Doctor John 8. I am not a robot 8 Are you human,too 9. Rebel 10.i wanna hear your song (ongoing) 11. Clean with Passion for now ..
