For some people acting is a career so they put in effort, and for others they just want to make some money then exit the industry early. Different people, different goals in life.

Feels like this drama aired and is about to finish so fast. Will miss seeing BL onscreen, she's always a treat. ARP is still filming so won't see him until next year at least.

The issue is also many Chinese actors also start as idols and they don't study lines or how to deliver dialogue😅 so the project hires VAs to dub them. But you also have good actors who put in effort like Bai Lu, Esther Yu,etc. It depends.

Chinese VAs are pros. They really add an extra something to actors since some actors have very strong regional accents.
