I don't know why people are complaining. Other dramas may have 10 vocal songs but only 2 are memorable/good.

The Emperor needs to see that his son can handle and battle with the PM without fear, otherwise FSG would be doomed.
I honestly can't see ML choosing to go live in a small cottage in the wilderness. He's not meant for an inconspicuous life XD

MDL's tags are not accurate. But political intrigue would be a genre or type of plot, not a trope. Enemies to Lovers is a trope in this drama, as well as Amnesia.
