I'm watching the drama too, but I don't think he has yet; that is only his suspicion based on the conversation. What I meant was the truth, like when he finds out after all those years the person he was training and fighting with was a girl/her.

All I know is that this is about to be another great drama. Just like any other My Wang Xing Yue drama. He is just the best at what he does and the best at choosing good scripts. Every single drama of his is a HIT, and I know for a fact this will be a HIT too.

Ok, so far, episodes 1-4 have been good; the story is paced fast. I didn't expect them to already develop feelings, and it has only been 4 episodes because usually dramas take about 10 to 20 episodes to build up the story and develop feelings, and that's all after a bunch of misunderstandings. Here it was quite fast, not that I'm complaining. I like it, but one thing I know from my experience is that if they develop feelings early, then later we are about to see a big misunderstanding.
After looking at the total number of episodes, I figured out why it's fast-paced. IT ONLY HAS 24. Aaaaaaa, the current can handle fewer episodes. I need at least 30. But if it was 2019 me, I would not have been complaining.
I hope they don't ruin the story. So far I like it, and I'm looking forward to it because Yuxi dramas are either a hit or a miss. I like her as an actress, but her team really needs to work on getting her good scripts like Love at Night, The Land of Warrior, Intense Love, and Love & Redemption.
CGH is a true villain. I'm not siding with him, but one thing I would say is how well the writer showed the journey of a villain. It was a perfect example of "no one is born as a villain; they have circumstances and issues in their life that force them to become like this."
