Please don't judge the drama of the rating. I think it is worth watching. This sang yan is different from the sang yan in HL. In hidden love, Sang yan was a brother, so they showed him how an older brother is: carefree, always teasing. But here Sang Yan is the main character. We will get to see his real life that we didn't in HL. Beside this is following the novel; in the novel, Sang Yan was cold and really wasn't as outgoing and outspoken as the Sang Yan in HL.

Actually, when hidden love was released, they changed the timeline a bit to make the age gap a little less. That's why its kind of confusing. As for FF, it follows the OG timeline. Beside the scene that we saw here was before Sang zhi assumed Duan jiaxu had a girl go to Yihe. Before that, Sang Zhi still talked to Duan Jiaxu. Due to the change in the timeline the things are confusing.
