I think young kids will enjoy this a lot. It has that shounen anime vibes or hero's journey which is inspiring. There are also family bonds & friendships etc so this is can be a fun watch. Court politics might be difficult for a 6 year old though but the action/hilarious bits are perfect for kids

Sorry to disappoint you but her role here is not much. She is 2nd billing & given special guest appearance title probably to respect her since she is a senior actress. The drama & crew team has said it clearly that it's male centric xianxia drama with no cp but there are many side characters who are also given importance & they have their own storyline. Currently, she is involved in a variety show so we might see more of her when she is free from that. Hoping her role here will be good but yeah don't expect too much screentime

I totally get you. It's annoying that all this hate mostly comes from other women who can't see flaws in female characters but will excuse same things for toxic male characters

I am glad you are loving her. Some started hating on her the moment she was introduced in ep 6 for 5 mins when it was airing but many whd fans including me has defended her so just know most hate towards her is shallow. I am not saying that you can't dislike a character. Some criticism maybe genuine & valid for example not enjoying romance but the moment people start throwing insults for things all other characters do then i know they are biased & just nitpicking instead of waiting for her character arc to see how she develops eventually

This season has some of the best & intense eps but also has some uninteresting parts so it was a mixed bag for me. I am really satisfied with the conclusion the last two eps provided but this drama could have benefited much more with less eps. Overall, this will still remain as one of my most favorite stories out there especially S1 & i will miss Mudan & the whole cast

Okay watched ep 23 & i got what i was waiting for

Just watched ep 20 & 21 & I will be so pissed if he actually died & if he didn't which i think is the case then i am irritated how the writers have made them separated so many times in this season that it became laughable to me at this point. Every few ep there is something which casues their separation. I couldn't tolerate ep 21 because all i was thinking was that "is he alive? Just tell me" but they thought it's better to show how much of a savior mudan is for random villagers which we have already seen million times already instead of showing us political side of things & jcy fate

Ep 19 was sooo good. Not sure if i am ready to say goodbye to this story

ML is very similar to Luffy/Gintoki type mcs (anime) who are very goofy & silly but get serious when they see any injustice. He is also like isekai type mcs who will get better over the course of story & level up. There are cool fights but it's not too action heavy imo. It's a mixture of many genres

Really good. Has it's flaws like unnecessary side stories & that misunderstanding arc annoyed me but last few eps made up for it. Some of their scenes are so passionate & intense that i was shocked that this is allowed in cdramas. Bai lu & wang hedi carried this drama for me & i adore their chemistry here

Yeahh & male leads can be imperfect, bad boys or even choke FLs & everyone will defend & sympathize with them but god forbid if FL only lies or being silly

Please give it a try yourself. This is a 40 ep drama & FL don't even have more than 5 hr of screentime. She barely appears (5 minutes mostly) & wasn't even present for first 5 & last 15 eps much. I personally love her but even if you don't, she is not even top 5 most imp character in this drama. It's not romance heavy & more focused on mc adventure, family, camaderie etc. I understand everyone has their own preference but i find it weird that people watch a whole 40 ep of drama with so many amazing characters but only complain about FL whose presence was equal to minor character. You will miss out on a good drama so I hope you at least give it a chance yourself.

I agree. Some of the moments are really beautiful & it was going fine mostly but the unnecessary drama to drag it is frustrating especially when it is done so poorly

Watched till ep 11 & i don't get why they are dragging the confession. First misunderstanding & now noble idiocy sub plot. This season feels too dramatic when i wanted more chill & happy moments towards the end after so much mudan went through. Now i am afraid to watch ep 12 because comments are not positive 😭
