Yeah it was around 98m- 105m & it's the only drama to reach that in last 2 years. S1 back in 2019 had 330m views but they changed the metric to count views to make it more reliable so dramas post 2019 mostly can't reach the same level especially when so many dramas are all airing at the same time in different platforms
The knockout reached around 170m in 2023 but it's thriller so not that popular internationally

40m/ep for a hit drama & 50m to be explosive. 100m for a mega hit & blockbuster. This year most dramas are struggling to get even 30m/ep & only 4 dramas have reached more than 40m/ep so i think zanghai will easily reach 40m+ per ep if views stay consistent & don't drop

I remember not being completely hooked but ep 7 onwards when he joined dafeng group, i was more invested & it got better & better for me. I usually recommend people to watch till ep 15 at least (it's a beautiful ep) but if you think you can't continue then it's fine to pause or drop it

Not exactly similar because no xianxia is like this where there is no cp tbh but if you want to try a male centric story with mixture of different genre & romance as side plot then i recommend guardians of the dafeng if you haven't watched it already

It's a unique xianxia drama & no end game cp. Female characters all have unique storylines & we can ship him with anyone. There is also bromance & rebirth storyline

Yess starting eps were slow kinda but watch till ep 9 at least & decide if you wanna go further. Her development is also good & voice changes too when she slowly starts to grow as a person

LBFAD is a classic so i highly recommend it especially if you love wang hedi as an actor. You will see different & devilish side of him but there is also comedy & lighthearted vibes. It's more romance focused & the only xianxia drama in last few years to get 100m views per ep. Osts are also amazing. I kinda envy you of watching it first time 😫

Note: it starts little slow so i remember thinking to drop it but stick with it till ep 9 if you decide to watch this drama

Xu qian is not completely perfect. He cares about money (greedy) & climbing the ladder ( having backup/connections) from the start like we can see him secretly stealing/picking money from ground in intial eps & trying to get favors from his boss etc but he is also a youthful personality who cannot see any injustice towards others. I like how he is not perfect & kinda like a common man who is selfish just like all of us but he is also a very straightforward personality who won't tolerate any wrongdoings
