He cares about money (greedy) & climbing the ladder ( having backup/connections) from the start like we can see him secretly stealing/picking money from ground in intial eps & trying to get favors from his boss etc but he is also a youthful personality who cannot see any injustice towards others. I like how he is not perfect & kinda like a common man who is selfish just like all of us but he is also a very straightforward personality who won't tolerate any wrongdoings

I personally like it but i can understand if you are not feeling it. This wasn't in the novel (it's harem) so they added this element to make xqa more likable. To answer your question, you are not the only one. There are certain fans who prefer other elements of the story more than the romance & it's ok. It was still enjoyable for them like it is for you because romantic moments are not that many to ruin the whole drama for them
