Dylan is only filming one drama a year now? I thought after LBFAD he would be busy with more dramas…
When actors become big, popular & established in the industry then they don't need to overwork themselves & can choose the script carefully. You can see how wu lei, xiao zhan & wang yibo all don't do 3-4 dramas in a year whereas actors who are not well known & their absence can make viewers forget them will choose whatever script they can get & will try to finish as much as work as they can. That's why some unpopular actor dramas release so quickly because not a high production. If we look at wang hedi, he has done mostly long dramas with 5 months shooting post lbfad. He did 3 projects from 2023 July to 2025 Jan. During this time, GOTD released after more than a year, LTTN has completed shooting for more than a year now & still not out & his movie will be out this year too. He is regularly working but his dramas take time to be out because most are S+ big budget projects so platforms wants to release them at right time
I am loving the vibes. My favorite character is wen yifan. I relate to her struggles a lot & I am liking how she is slowly opening up & standing up for herself. I hope I get more of her healing journey because i am really invested in her story. The only thing that is annoying me is that new intern. My god is he insufferable
Just want to let you know that you posted this comment 5 times. It may have to do with connection.
Just deleted 😭 Idk what's wrong but i keep getting the message "something went wrong" so i kept posting it again. Thank you for letting me know. I started this because i like the main leads but it didn't hook me so just want motivation to continue
I have watched ep 1 & it didn't grab me quickly so i want to know how it is for most people? Pls give me honest spoiler free opinion. I have many things to watch & wanna prioritize my time with something which is good & i don't want to be disappointed later
Man, why is this drama SOOO UNDERRATED HERE?? Was it a hit in China? This is amazing
It's the most viewed cdrama of 2025 & only drama to get over 2 billion views in total. Top 3 drama in terms of avg views per ep (51m/ep & still increasing). The top 2 dramas of this year in terms of avg views are short thriller dramas so this is the best historical cdrama of this year so far. Haters like to spread it's bad or a flop but reality is different. Many people in china are also catching up & realizing that marketing accounts lied to them & the drama is actually great so i will say it's a certified hit drama not just in terms of views but also commercially (highest advertisement seconds all platforms all time). Tencent has mentioned recently in their financial report how gotd in first quarter of this year has increased their financial position massively from last year so yeah dw it looks like underrated here because most international audience care about romcoms but this has been sold to 18 different platforms & region (recently it will also broadcast in Japan) which is also highest copyrighted record for any drama & shows wang hedi appeal & demand internationally so yeah not that underrated internationally as you think
I re-watched "Guardians of the Dafeng" and this time I focused on the hero's movements from the modern world to…
I have rewatched earlier eps recently & it's so good from the start. I remember not being hooked initially on my first watch but after falling in love with the cast, rewatch is more fun
I'm on 16 ep and I would say it has been barely watchable. Should I keep wasting my time? Will it get way better…
It does get better in second half if you are into the the story & enjoy the characters in first half. Most people are hooked in ep 15 so if you are still not into it then i think you should drop it. There are plenty of things to watch & it might not be for you
Reading only the synopsis is this similar to LGIEF? I had to drop LGIEF because the plot felt flat towards the…
This drama is not focused on romance if that's what you are looking for (more of a side plot). However, if you want a fun comedy drama with an amazing cast & intriguing story then this is for you. We see mc journey & how he make beautiful bonds with people of dafeng (family, friends, career, lover etc). It starts silly & goofy but characters will slowly grow on you & you will eventually fell in love with xqa & the cast (I love mostly everyone in this drama). There is also some serious tension & drama towards the later half so i will say this starts good & ends on a peak & really strong note that it left a really deep impression on many people even those who didn't like it that much at first fall in love at the end. It does ends on a cliffhanger & they tease a little for s2 so we all are waiting for the official announcement but I will say to give it few eps & see for yourself
Whatever the case, the actors kindly ask their fans not to interfere to their working affairs.https://x.com/xukai_soso0305/status/1929319612899860749?s=46
Yess i don't think didi fans are that controlling. They believe in his choices & trust that he will handle all the problems himself as an adult if there is any. This is all speculations at the end of the day & fans sometimes worry about bad crew & all that but we can do nothing more than just hope for the best & support his decision
Currently, it’s calculated the screen time ratio of Song Qianji as if June 5 is 48.7 which is too low; a big…
Hmm why do I get the feeling this drama will focus more on other characters. I heard novel is like that too where SQJ character helps in shining other characters. I hope they change the script a bit to make didi character get more focus
